Las Bugambilias Motel on Blvd. Gómez Morín, 250 pesos.

I almost always prefer Las Palmas for 350, ir's new, and the rooms are waaaay better than the rest, they have a small set of furnitue with a loveseat table and a couch when you enter the room, kind of a living room type of deal, great bathrooms with both a regular toilet and a bidet for the ladies, and mirrors on the ceilings, plasma tv and home theater. I like it because I plug in my iPod and listen to music (sinners lounge, great music to get and stay in the mood).

Be careful guys! I walked out of the Bombin Hotel and was stopped by 2 corrupt cops on Jaurez Ave across from the Kentucky Club. I had not had anything to drink, just simply walking toward El Paso. I don't recommend it--you can argue it's not smart--but I just feel like if I was a 20-year-old girl who had to spend an hour with a man who was both twice my size AND age on top of me with his slimy tongue in my mouth I would want some decent compensation.

Besides, you don't want to be too much of a penny pincher in J-town. J-town is not the place you want to make enemies.

Came back from the book around 10:30AM (BTW, Juarez Book has reopened for those that don't know) and saw for the first time (for me) the foot line actually back to the MX turnstiles. In fact, they were metering the traffic - holding people back until the line moved up a little. Each stile was about 10 deep.

The Passport line was all inside - Sentri line empty. Sentri card is another 122 bucks or so and if the talked about future construction slows down the traffic, I just might go for that one.
