Tipping it My Nature !!!!

Chapter 3. Medellin 18-21 February 2010
" I gave her the $200.000COP plus $25.00US tip. I was truthful about not having any more COPs, but I did have US $$$$. "
That is a 25% tip.
"First New Life,... She tells me $61.000COP ($31. 50US). Are you freaking kidding me? It was $55K for the hour and $6K for the beer. I gave Andrea the $39.000COP ($19.50US) change as a tip. "
That is a 66% tip
"I decided to hit Alejas. Unbelieveable, only $48,000COP ($24. 00US), $45.000COP, plus $3.000COP for the beer. Gave Sara $20. 000COP tip,"
That is 40% tip.
"I stopped at a bar next door to this residencia named Linda. I went over to the window... it was $12.000COP ($6.00US) for the room and $25.000COP ($12.50US) for Susana for two pops. ...I give Susana $25.000COP"
Close to 70% again..
"Medellin. Great, cheap and girls are hot and give great service."
Come on man, i can understand wanting to leave a tip to the girls, but you are screwing it up for the rest of us. You are just creating spoiled brats which we are gonna have to live with after you leave.
No way is this a report of distinction. Please come and enjoy this town again but be a bit more mindful of the rest of us.
I know, i know it is your money, on the other hand, this is my opinion.
Enjoy
Mellow
Mellow,
I do not discriminate on who I give tips to. For me it's all about my personal satisfaction and I do not give one rotten egg about messing up anything for whomever. That's not what I am thinking about when I leave tips.
Tipping people no matter what profession is what I do. I tip the waiters and waitresses at Denny's $5. 00 for a $11. 00 breakfast, I tip my barber $10. 00 for a $15. 00 haircut, which means no matter when I walk in, I have an appt and am always next. I tip the hotel bellhops $5. 00 for taking my bag from the lobby to the room, I tip the taxi drivers $5K extra for taking me down to El Centro, etc., etc. So tipping 40% or more is not unusal for me, No Matter Where I Am.
Some people are big tippers and some people are NOT. Perhaps if I had to worry about counting pennies then I would not tip the way I do. Fortunately, for me I do not have to count my pennies.
