With four notches on my belt in a little under 24 hours I slept most of the day Thursday to prepare for the evening. A trip to Thermae.

I had never been but had read a lot about it, so I was kind of prepared. I made my way around the room and finally walked up to the hottest Japanese girl in the room. "Hi? I meekly sputtered and she just looked away. Next hottest, same response. In the taxi she lightens up a bit, but I can tell this is going to be a bit of a chore. It is noted that high colour has gone completely out of fashion though. So there is still a very high percentage of people on BTS and shopping in sombre tones, of black, white, and grey. Those wearing a colour tend to have just the plain one colour for entire shirt. Where people used to be big on red, yellow, and pink shirts, hardly see these any more. I have some colourful shirts (not Hawaiian) so I must look a bit strange on occasion.

Many people wore Hawaiian shirts at Songkran, both Thais and tourists.

Overwhelming majority of Bangkokians are wearing black and white but a recent royal decree as asked for people to now wear white. Foreigners are given a reprieve though.

Gogo bars BF are a bit higher in Pattaya than BKK, generally ranging from 800 to 1500 BF. Some clubs have hit 2000 BF. All clubs with BF over 1000 drop there BF to 1000 after midnight. There may be the odd exception as I don't know the exact current BF rates of every Pattaya gogo club.

Beer bar BF are generally 300-350 baht.
