I was sipping a tea at the Oriental in the Emporium reading an article in the Economist on artificial intelligence. I looked at my watch it was mid afternoon. I had been up and down 24, 26 even 33 where I rarely venture. I must have visited 10 or 12 shops but found nothing to my spec. I saw a few new faces but all were lacking in one way or another. I smiled at some who knew me from previous sessions and I could see the disappointment when I left without heading upstairs with them. I began thinking about my specs and how it limits my choices. I thought for example fake noses are a big turn off for me and something a friend told me came to mind. It's also an issue of wanting something for the sake of it. You don't throw a sharp edge onto something soft and / or delicate. It's too much of a contrast but these girls see a nose that they like and don't take into consideration if it will actually look natural. They think they'll look like some celebrity of a contrasting ethnicity and bone structure by just slapping a right triangle on their face.
