"we hit the ground, we shouted obscenities and humiliating us," recounted one of the 229 sex workers who was arrested last night by staff from the city of tijuana in a raid on bars in the zona norte and la mesa de tijuana.
he explained that at midnight local police and personnel of the directorate of inspection and verification arrived at the bar where she worked and without the grounds began to take off, with profanity in the middle, and haul them on patrols.
once we got to the station, he said, we did that we throw to the ground and continued verbal attacks.
along with her were arrested 228 sex workers from other bars as "valentina", "adelita", "hong kong", "chakra", "7 cups", which were banned by municipal authorities.
she attended the morning to the office of municipal health services, located on calle coahuila, northern zone, where other women were also arrested.
the argument is that local authorities lacked the health card and two were defeated.
"these operations obey the instructions that the mayor jorge ramos has turned to such units to penalize bars that operate erratically," reports the city of tijuana through a press release.
pass it, pass it ...
"pass it, pass it," was the cry of invitation from a group of employees stood outside the bar adelitas, which had two doors closing with orange labels.
however, workers pointed to a hallway that was five meters from the main gate, where watched sex workers who came and went.
the screams continued invitation to enter the place, while other employees covered closure seals with aluminum ladders and white towels.
those who did were left without work were workers outside of hong kong and chakra.
"i know nothing when we arrived in the morning and were the seals. those who know are those of the night, because they touched," said one employee.

as he has published la-ch, there are people close to alexander monraz who have had dealings with the owners of bars in the zona norte.
monraz has a brother named jorge octavio, who was a founding partner of corporate martínez castillo, who at one time handled cases of bar owners in the northern zone.
this was a shareholder corporate josé miguel ramírez bilbao, who from 2004 to date has been the legal representative of various companies engaged in the sale of alcohol.

Sentri Walking Line: used as a overflow.
Sentri line used as a overflow for bus and general. Can be 15 to 20 minutes wait depending on CBP attitude towards Sentri members.
No point in educating the CBP about the dedicated "Sentri Line."
Getting a Sentri Card is a detail CBP process and cost around $150 for four years. Typical crossing in the dedicated Sentri lane is 5 minutes.
[QUOTE=Supersteve]On a Sunday afternoon, it can be up to an hour.
I have never seen a line for the Sentri.

t/r 03/30/10 - 03/31/2010
Got into tj around 16:00 Tuesday afternoon. Went to have dinner and at the time, I didn't know they close some of the bars down.
Had another wonderful steak at Cheripan then went from there to the zona.
I knew something was going on when I see a whole bunch of people in front of h/k and l/c. This was on the alley side.
I see the yellow tape in front of the two bars and thought at first just the back entrances were closed. I walked around to the other side and I see some of the waiters from both h/k and l/c. They tell me the govn't shut them down for a day and they would be open again tomorrow.
I then walk over to a/b and notice the same yellow tape in front of their doors. I thought t/b would be close also, but fortunately they were open. I thought there might be some h/k girls in there until they reopen. There were but not to many, and certainly not the hot ones. I stayed for a little while then left. The talent at t/b wasn't all that great.
I went to c/c hoping maybe some of the a/b chicas would be there. But noooo! It was dead with no one catching my eye.
Trying to think where else can I go. I went up the hill to Rio Verde. This place was a sausage fest. More guys than girls and packed. I had to share a table with a couple of locals. There is talent here. There were at least 4 that I would have done. Unfortunately, they were all taken.
This bar is a locals bar and to have a good time, I think you should know at least basic Spannish. It there weren't so many dudes, I could like this place.
I then went to La Valentina. Now I haven't been here in a long time because the talent just wasn't like it was before.
Tonight, what a difference. It looked like a/b from the past. Crowded with many good looking chicas. Many standing like if it was hottie central. One chica caught my eye so I bought her a drink. Good thing, although she looked good, she told me she doesn't do dkfing. That saved me some money because I didn't take her up. I think her name was Jessica.
It is now about 23:00, tired and did not take a chica up. I decided to spend the night so I walked to Hotel Ticuan and stayed the night.
Revolution, especially for spring break was dead. There were still the hot dog guys on every corner, but other than that, pretty much dead.
One interesting thing walking to the hotel. I believe it was on fourth st. Standing next to one of the hot dog guys was a girl who looked pretty cute. It looked like she was waiting for the signal to turn green but when it did turn she stayed in her spot.
I looked at her, she smiled but I wasn't sure what the deal was. I was tired and my alert systems were not at full capacity so I decided to just keep walking and not talk to her. Maybe another time. I was wondering if anyone else saw her or knows whats going on with her.
She did look better than some of the bar girls.
After spending the night, I went back to the zona but most of the bars were still closed. I went to the sports book and gambled a little and around 13:30 I left the book and saw that h/k and l/c were letting people in. I will write about those in the proper thread
