If you are not good in French, show the amount on your handphone. Its understood. Some gold diggers smell a chance and press you for 100 k or more. Biiig drama if you not pay.

NosyBe is same as Tana. In the other provinces the cadeaux is less. But also depending on your charm.

For short time I giving 30 k and never negotiate the price in advance most of them want comeback for repeat. Have 12 diffrent girls already in 8 days. Few times I give 50 k for great service and perfect attitude for all night but it was my own choice I don't care if 10 k less or more. I will make some report when I am not lazy about nosy be. Girls are desperate here now not so many foreigners but still plenty of girls.The weather is good not so hot, have rain 2-3 times in 8 days but just at night for 1-2 hours.

I just left Mada and was in Nosy Be for a little over a week, all night with 21 yo girls I always paid 40 kAR no complaints always eager to see me again. I had this same experience in Tamatave and Tana. I absolutely LOVE those sweet young things in Daressalam, Nosey Be.

Spend here 2 weeks so will put some info maybe its helps for some newbies.

Ambanja-ankify taxi brousse is 5 k ariary. Ankify-nosy be fast boat ticket is 15 k ariary. Bajaj from hell ville or port of ferry to ambatoloaka is 3 k. If you need some medication buy it at pharmacy at hell ville or dzamandzar pharmacies. Don't use pharmacy at ambatoloaka (the one not far from taxi be or near bmoi bank cash machine) its rip off place for tourist prices and most things cost 30-40 percent more expensive. Like example medication from diarrhea cost here 34 k ariary and viagra tablets 23 k ariary and the same tablets at dzamandzar pharmacy cost 22 k for diarrhea and 15 k for viagra. Bajaj price from ambatoloaka to dzamandzar is 1 k and it takes around 15 minutes. First week at nosybe I stick with other ISG member so we have good fun after he left and I continue mongering alone.

Mongering: you can do it everywhere at nosy be, but for me the best places is:

AR Daytime: (daressalam) sit at the big bazar market (grocery store at daressalam) outside they have tables for sit, so you go inside the shop buy any drink and after sit outside and wait all girls is passing by or going to the shop its best places to collect numbers or invite girls straight to your hotel. You can find here some good looking young girls (18-22) without children which you never find at night in taxi be or biliard bar or another discos.

Taty chris disco (open just on sundays best time is from 9 pm till 12 am) all island is going for party here on sundays even on low season is packed around 150-200 girls inside. Every time I go here I collect at least 4-5 numbers from girls I like. You will find here many girls which you never see at taxi be or biliard bar. I like this place its a proper gasy disco!!

Taxi be, biliard bar,(bussiest times 22.30 pm -00.30 am. I go here every night the quality of the most girls is low, many girls have children and not good looking, but I manage to find at least one girl I like every night or every second night so its enough for me. Biliard bar was closed for more than 3 weeks before but from March 2 reopen again. When just taxi be was open and biliard bar was closed it looks packed every night and was difficult to find a seat. But now when both open and girls split between them is not busy anymore and you can see its much less girls when on high season.

Serena disco and djembe disco they both still open and rotating few nights one is open next few nights another one. They never open both together. They start very late when taxi be and biliard bar is closed. One time I go here 1. 30 am pay 3 k entry and it was just few people inside. I not bother comeback anymore because at 1 am most of the times I have a girl and in bed already.

Prices: as I mentioned before for short time I am paying 30 k ariary and never negotiate the prices before I think its more than enough. And for all night is 30-40 k ariary I agree the price before and all girls accept it don't have any refuse yet. Few times I give 50 k ariary for great service for all night.

As I mentioned last year nosybe mongering is super easy all girls is giving the numbers from probably 30 diffrent try this time I get refused just one time for number. You don't find any models here at nosybe the best looking girls is probably are between 7 -7. 5 (maximum) range from 10. Now is low season and have much less girls when I was here last year on may.

Weather: is good for low season just little bit of rain in 2 weeks time and just at night.

Food: some places is closed because of low season, but some start reopen on March. Most of the times I am eating at bidule, zeburger and at mama mia pizzeria food is good here big portions and tasty the prices is higher between 17-35 k per dish depends what you eat. I try avoid all local gargotes because tired of all diarrea I was getting diffrent times. Also very close to bidule at same side of the street have nice place for local yoghurt for 1 k and cakes for 1 k its also good to sit and look the girls passing by or collect some numbers.

Madagascar is good for girls but prepare yourself for some shit also if you stay longer like electricity blackout, bad diarrhea, some kind of tropical flu with bad body pain or something diffrent. Nosy be is good place for mongering, but after two weeks I see its getting harder to find for me a new girls I like. I see same faces same girls everyday and night. Tamatave gives better option for mongering and much more girls and little bit better looking. I was planning to move to diego for 1 week or more soon, but another monger coming here which I met at Colombia before so plan to stay a bit longer at nosy.

So my 4th trip to Madagascar, this time we'll informed though, thanks to Seniors.

Landed in Tana, picked up my Supermarket Girl on my way to the hotel. The name of the mall La City. It was the 29th Feb, for some reason the mall was full of hotties. And some kind of a show was happening on the 1st floor. She was really nice. Up for just about anything and no hurry to leave. I actually left before her. For my morning flight.

Headed to Sambava in the morning, drove to Anthalah for an hour of work. On the way back (driving my business partners car), 3 beautiful ladies wanted a drop to Sambava. Much obliged, we gave them a lift and they more than happy to stick around till the next morning. Had some fun at the Orchidea Beach II hotel. We had lunch and some love making. And drinks in the evening and another round of love making. No money exchanged hands. Left them at their homes around 9 pm. Went out to the beach. Being a Sunday. Everyone was on the beach making merry. Most of the guys eating some kind of a plant. Stopped at a shack for a couple of local Rum. Picked up a couple of nicely dressed locals wanting to have a few beers and then head to our hotel for love making. Did that and they refused to take any money too. When offered, they were upset and said, they were not *****s. Good for us.

Flew back to Tana the Next Morning and made friends with the Airhostess, she was more than happy to catch up for a Coffee. Got my driver to drop me at my hotel and sent him to the airhostess house to pick her up (she had to change her clothes, couldn't be seen wearing her blue tasardia uniform). Coffee at La City followed by quick round of Love Making at my hotel. NO money exchanged. But a promise to meet on my next visit and take her out shopping. Driver dropped her back home.

Headed to Nosy Be the next day. A lot of expectations. Found a room at Hotel Blanche. For some reason the first 4 hotels we visited were full. Didn't realise until we ventured out, that LE Taxi Be was like a 3 minute walk. Thanks to all the posts on ISG, stopped there for a drink and picked up a nice local for 50000 for the night. She knew little English, but was nice in bed. She left at 8 am. Had to go to work. Anal was allowed.

While standing in the balcony, enjoying the view, girls at the beach were dropping like flies for giving us a massage for 15000. Got one of those with some nice hand and blow job. Slept through the evening.

Again went to the balcony for the sunset view and what do I see, a beautiful fair coloured girl, sitting, looking at the ocean and sunset. Put on some decent clothes and went and sat not very far from her. I was approached by a few more women for massage, which I was refusing. Next comes a black guy offering me weed. I didn't understand what he was trying to do. Door to my conversation opens. This beautiful girl, tell me he wants to sell me weed. As I said no. He then started talking to me in French now trying to sell me Coke. Again the girl explains this to me and I ask for rates. Not wanting to buy it, but still asked her to translate how much. 100€ for 1 gram, I refuse. He goes on to explain he buys it for 75 and makes 25 . The girls shoos him away tells him I don't want anything.

Perfect chance now to get talking to this girl. We chat for a while, her English was very very average, but I could get a sense of what she was trying to say. After 30 minutes of her showing me her son's photo and her white french fiance photos. I offered her a drink. Headed to my room for a quick drink and she got the hint of what I wanted. My driver took her home, she changed into something nice (I picked the dress from all the photos she showed me) and we went out for a pizza. This pizza place was like 2 shops away from LE Taxi Be but on the other side of the road. While having dinner, we negotiated a price. It was slightly more than what I had paid the previous night, but she was worth the extra effort. After dinner we again went to LE Taxi Be had a few more drinks, this time the live band were singing a lot of English songs, so stayed till midnight. She left the next morning after passionate love making, the only thing I couldn't do was Anal. And 75000.

The next morning driver comes to pick us for the airport. Guess what, he brings along his girl and introduced us to her. While he left her in my room to chit chat, he went ahead and did some his chores. His girl could speak English, she worked in a hotel. It was her day off. She was so fine. God. Why didn't I meet her before. Fair coloured. Decent boobs, perfect ass to compliment that perfect body. What a package. But hey, she was my driver's girl. We spoke for a while and decided to meet in private on my next visit.

They dropped us to the airport and guess who I see next to the baggage belt. The Tasardia Airhostess waiting to pick me up. Surprise. Surprise. We went back to the hotel together, one very quick round of love making. She knew I had an MK flight to Maurice and time was short, again NO money exchanged.

But Nosy Be I can't find anything at the beach below 160.000. How much you paid for the hotel?

I will not mention hotel name I keep it for myself not need to know for everyone and ruin the prices after. Hotel ambatoloaka is good hotel and its cost 100 k its not at beach but very close you can see sea from your room, have aircon, wifi and everything you need. I know 2 persons who stay here already and they both said its good for the price you get.probably you can negotiate this hotel also to lower price if you try .

Ambotoloka hotel is not on the beach. Do you want to get similar Mangily experience? See the waves ans massage girls while you hold your cup of coffee?

Ambotoloka hotel do not have Wifi in rooms only in reception. Bedsheet are replaces every week. Mattress are the cheapest possible that exist. Aircon low power so it a budget compromised hotel but most of the Mongers like it but they are crawling all over and arguing loudly in the floor hall.

I'm heading to Nosy Be this summer (I guess it's winter down there) and considering Hotel Ambatoloaka. Online it says free Wi-Fi in all the rooms, but I'm reading some reports here that it has Wi-Fi only in the lobby. That would be a huge pain in the ass and probably a dealbreaker. Is there anyone who has stayed there recently who can confirm one way or the other?

Also, about the beach massage girls, I RTFF'd and saw the figure 15 k. Is this for one hour full body? Including happy ending? And is it like in mombasa north coast or pattaya where they have a massage shop you can go in to get the massage, or do you take them back to your hotel?

New policy in many hotels and Service Apartments but they are ready to give new towels every minute. Harder for sheet but the cleaners will kill for tip. So about Nosy its a nice place for a week, more then a week I feel I need to run. In Tulear I had no issue to stay for a full month. And flight from Toulier to Nosy its two separate flight and you need to take hotel in Tana in case of the first flight late and you miss the second. I wish they provide one boarding pass for connecting flight.

Call me crazy, but I'm entertaining the idea of having kids with one or more nice girls and paying them monthly to raise the kids.

I want more children. Don't know why, maybe a biological impulse. And when I retire, I might move over to Africa and have a younger family (or more than one).

Can you experienced expats explain to me why this is a bad idea (it probably is)? What will go wrong?

Do you know the cost of living in rural areas in Madagascar, Kenya and other African countries? What would be the minimum "salary" I would have to pay a housewife to live reasonably comfortably and raise 4 kids without having to work?

I stayed at this place called Etoile Blanche, it was an under construction place for Euro45 a night, nice big rooms with attached good sized balcony facing the beach. If you are in the balcony the girls will shout out to you for service. Yes 15000 incl.

Full body massage and a hand job. So these girls are working in the day and once they are free from their regular jobs they tend to go in for extra money. They come to your room to give you the service. This hotel was like 2 minutes walk to LE Taxi Be. There were a couple of disco's around, but it was empty when I went.

The guy came with a WiFi code but I didn't seem to work, I didn't bother complaining as I had my mobile with local sim. But yes, there was a system in place.

One thing though, they are constructing the 3rd floor, so its noisy post 8 am until 4 pm.
