Yes. The U bahn is pretty quite with mostly women traveling & the S bahn is packed with people @ 4:30-5am

All clubs are going to have thin lineups on Mondays. I was there on a Monday last month, but I knew some of my regulars were working so I had a good time. A small lineup up, but plenty of good choices. Oase's Monday lineup is pretty good too.
Myr, you make a good point here. For those you don't want the hassle of renting a car and the expense, Palace seems like a great club to visit since it is easily accessible by public transportation.
For those who want to venture out into the countryside, renting a car would be a better option to visit places like Oases and the others mentioned in NRW.
I'm planning to rent a car myself for my upcoming visit in May to try out Oase, World and possibly GT and LR in NRW.

I could walk into a FKK that is convenient and possibly find ladies that appeal to me, (maybe I like aggressive ladies? ) so I am happy and have more euros to shower on them because I spent a fraction of the cost of getting to that remote one. Meanwhile, there are lovely ladies who are non-aggressive, etc at FKK's that are too remote for the first time out-of-country visitor who will be missed. So sad. Perhaps the in-country newbie could be encouraged to drive further for the cause. But those of us with limited time / resources are reluctant to go tromping all over the country side looking for something someone else likes. I'll know what I like when I find it, and if I find it after public transit, I'll probably have more funds / time left to enjoy it.

Soap Fan, if I may ask you a basic question. Does Palace allow you to exit and return the club later in the day without paying another entrance fee? Is this the case at some of the other FKK's as well?

Sorry to interfere ;-) but:
Basically it's possible at most - if not all - clubs. I've done it several times in different clubs, and it works.
Make sure you tell the receptionist.
At some clubs you will be given a note (with a number and the date on it, for example), which you have to show when you return. At some you have to give back your locker key, they put it aside and write down the number. At some - mostly the smaller clubs - they're just asking for your surname/nickname and try to remember your face, and so on.
I think, with most clubs it's also possible to leave your stuff there if you don't want to take it with you.

Funny, I've never had a problem leaving an FKK club and coming back during the same "business" day/night/early morning, except in one case: F39.
I visited F39 in December recently and, after staying for a few hours, I wanted to leave and come back later that same day/evening. I dressed and went up to the front desk to get some kind of re-entry pass and the reception lady told me I could only re-enter without paying if I were to comeback within one hour. I thought she was joking, but she was adament that I could not get back in for free if I would be longer than an hour. So I told her with a disappointed expression on my face that there is always a stau on the A40 and I didn't think I would make it back in time. She just shrugged. So I left and went to GT instead, and was well rewarded by that...Mind you, the receptionist at F39 was the older, somewhat "sour" surly-faced blonde, who is distinctly unfriendly (to me at least) in stark contrast to the younger blonde who is sometimes behind the desk, who is quite friendly. Go figure...
But I've never had a problem at Palace or Oase (where they issue you with a re-entry Pass/Voucher) or at World, where they just tell you to "come back if you like, don't worry, we'll remember you!"
