In 1988 the Thai Baht was pegged at 25 baht to the dollar, therefore:

5 baht in 1988 = .20 cents

20 Baht in 2008 = .57 cents

That's not an unreasonable increase over twenty years.

Alas, the only ones remaining in a financially unrequited state 'late at night' (or what passes for late at night nowadays), are most definitely not the attractive or young ones, FH. Thus, yes, one may bargain quite a lot with the old hags, but the desirable girls can almost set their own price. There simply are so few of them relative to the numbers of mongers in Bangkok. Pattaya is a bit better of course.

I'm not in BKK now but expect all these spots are still open -- Nana disco took a huge nosedive in quality, was near empty most nights when I was in BKK in March -- but the rest are probably about the same as when you were there last, as long as it was fairly recently (last few yrs).

You can try searching in the forum for more info -- top right. This question is the kind that some here get tired of answering again and again, so probly best to search a bit first and see what info's up there. I'd give better answer if I was there, but I'm not so can't really. Myself, found a quite nice girl in Nana parking lot last time for 1000 ST. None from your other spots though.

Nana disco kill themself by raising their cover charge to 500 bht a few yr ago.

I think they lowered it back to 200 bht cover with one drink, but no one came back.

It was empty when I droped by last month.
