Has anyone ever tried #62 at Bacarra gogo?
She gives out all the bad signs (super shy, hardly moving on the very end of the stage, no eye contact with anyone) but she has the best breast I've seen in a gogo bar on BKK (she dances on the sometimes topless 1st floor). Perfect size and shape for her body. Being non Japanese, I know I'm almost transparent for Bacarra girls, but her body almost made me try to go for it, in spite of all the bad signs. Feedback would be greatly appreciated!

However, I also assume most of those guys walking out alone will go into another go-go bar nearby and continue shopping on their "buy a Lady Drink and get laid" mission. Asian or Farang, I think they leave alone simply because they didn't find a suitable candidate for the "get laid" part of the model in that particular go-go bar on this particular visit.

But for a bar it is also a dangerous path. After all, the number one success factor for a bar is beautiful girls. I also think it is not relevant to bring in "The Arab" in this discussion. His bars are obviously a cover up for some other type of activity, so it does not count. I never set my foot in his bars. As long as you run a go-go bar you really do not care if customers perceive it as a "drinking lounge" or a place for barfine. You need to find ways to cater to both and to make sure you can make some money out of both "models".[/QUOTE]All of that makes sense to me, too. I think some guys are mistaking go-go bar owners, mamasans, management, whatever not being particularly good at creating an atmosphere where the girls are encouraged and rewarded for enticing customers to barfine them and to deliver something competitively worthwhile in the room for some here-to-fore unseen intelligent decision not to be in that business anymore. I read where the girls and service in the various oily/soapy/PSE massage shops is not as good as it used to be, too. But I never hear that those massage shops are "more and more" moving into a chit chat drinking lounge model where P4 P is no longer the primary objective.

Many have closed and others have consolidating because the majority of the best looking ladies have either went to non-P4P gentlemen's clubs or went online.
As far as Oilies go, well they've always had their niche but they've also had to evolve to present a more 'clean' image with more and more going the massage menu route.
Yes, there are still some who are keeping the old business model on life support and even injecting some new blood into it but it's mostly being done by people who don't have a clue. How many new bars have opened and closed over the years only after being open a year or two?
I think you fail to realize that economics aren't the only thing at play here.

Hello all,
I am not a regular in Bangkok, but have visited 3-4 times for couple of days each on business and some pleasure. Have tried some bars in nana plaza. I think I had few gems in emennuel in my last trip. So it is on agenda this time too, if it's still open.
Some of us are planning to come for 5-6 days in end July and this time it is all fun I know that it could be pretty warm and rainy. We are coming from Singapore, so the heat is ok, but rains could spoil the fun. We will stay near nana plaza mostly. Any suggestions in hotels and comments on weather would be appreciated.

I apologize but I know this post will get more attention if I post here. Looking for a guest friendly hotel in Hua Hin near enough to the beer bars to be easy to get to them. Price range I have in mind is anywhere from $50 USD to maybe $110 USD. I want a decent hotel, but not so far out I can't get to the beer bars easily. Maybe walking distance or easy taxi, etc. Thanks.

If your reasoning is to save time in traffic jams then I would take a taxi from DMK to Mo Chit BTS station and then it's just a 20 minute sky train ride to Nana Station for example. If your flight is arriving in the evening, let's say after 8 PM then it would be just as fast to take a taxi all the way to Sukhumvit. However, if your motivation is only to save money, the taxi from DMK to Suk will be about 200 Baht and 50 Baht for the toll booth which exits at Suk Soi 1. Your in for 250-300 Baht. If you can't afford that, stay home.

There are hundreds of girls working there and I bet their numbers change often. It seems you are very hesitant to bar fine any girl at a go go bar and you are hoping someone else on here took the plunge for you. That's not how it works. This is how it works: Monger, bar fine a girl, and write a review for others to read.
Your last review was of a girl at Annie's 4 years ago so you've got some catching up to do.

If you can't afford that, stay home.[/QUOTE]Just outside of the glass doors in the Arrival Area of DMK where signs direct you to the buses, walking briefly to the right after you step outside, there is a designated stop for a bus that goes directly to Mo Chit BTS Station, no stops in between.
The sign pictured in that link says the bus leaves every 12 minutes and goes to "Jatujack", their way of referring to Chatuchak Park MRT Station, which is also the same location as Mo Chit BTS Station. When the bus gets to the BTS/MRT location, look for the stairs going up above the street level to ride on the BTS. For the MRT, look for the stairs going down below the street level.

I take that bus every time I arrive at DMK. Since it is a direct transport, I don't think it has ever taken me more than 15-20 minutes to get to Mo Chit BTS Station. 30 baht, pay the attendant on the bus. Personally, I wouldn't bother with a taxi to get to Mo Chit BTS Station from DMK unless I arrived at a time when that bus isn't running (see the sign in the link). I suppose if I had a lot of luggage to deal with I might take a taxi. But I never do. This bus accommodates carry-on luggage ok.
But don't mistakenly get on the bus going to Victory Monument BTS Station since that one does take a bit longer. These bus destinations are clearly marked in English.

Maybe only when it comes to finding a lady for the night being cheaper and less hassle via apps or dating sites than some go-go bars make it for their customers. But I don't think the cost is the deal killer really. And I do recognize there are other forces at play in why some venues have changed their style somewhat, including clean up efforts by the new Minister of Tourism. But some bizarre new interest among Asian or Farang men in not getting laid but instead sitting around chit chatting with bargirls and buying Lady Drinks with no barfine option on the table isn't high among them when it comes to the Bangkok go-go bar scene, imo.

Guys come in relax stare at the hot dancers have a few drinks, succumb to their urges and BF the available girls or bar hop until they find something better or eventually just book someone online.
This system will continue to progress to the point where most bars just have coyotes and no P4P options and ordering online is the main and potentially only option to get P4P.
Say what you will but the realities are the powers that be want the scene to be more transparent and the whole agogo scene is predominately dependent on specific generations of customers that are coming less and less. The younger generations of men who come to Thailand for fun are finding it more readily available for free or use dating sites / apps to meet ladies.
