I don't know of those are cops or just armed security guards making 15 dollars an hour. If they were told he had a gun they should of ordered him to put his hands up, patted him down and not asked him for a ticket and then shot him for reaching for something. Every trolley cart has 3 mentally ill people on it and they all doing stupid shit. I had another incidence yesterday in morning black guy gets on 2 semi homeless types talking about killings between street guys for 5 stops then he gets up to get off and mumbling something at me staring me in face I think he wanted to kill me. I knew better not to take the trolley from imperial Ave to old down through the east village. You should always get off that stop and walk 200 feet to the trolley that goes through gaslamp that has much less homeless. Tijuana is safer than that east village area of downtown San Diego. A guy got on too and dragging a white bedspread covered in shit rubbed it against my pants I had to go immediately to the laundry mat. So disgusting the whole trolley situation.

One involved two dudes harassing passengers and trying to pick fights with them for no reason and the other was getting on board and slipping in a river of piss resulting in a wardrobe change. It seems that the crazy homeless people are terrorizing the transit. Even the ordinary non-crazy homeless are scared shitless on the transit and transit cops only travel in groups of 2 or more.

I heard that some prisoners were released from prison early so they wouldn't get Covid in prison. Now they're probably occupying the trolley system.
Those transit harassers had better be careful before they run into a Joker vigilante jajajajaja. I loved how Joaquin Phoenix did that sick laugh and as he copped off 3 of them on the subway.

I can't imagine anyone takes it up there. Way too dangerous. I had to stop taking it from old Town to San Ysidro because the chances of an I cident thata gona involve police is very high. Its not just that I could get hurt. I could need to spend $ on a lawyer. Have been chased attacked numerous times by mentally ill in San Diego, one guy popped me in head as I walked down the aisle on an Amtrak train to LPS Angeles. He had been yelling st invisible people and drinking for an hour. Another issue is once you go south of petco park there's no white people on the trolley. If there's 40 people on the trolley car you will almost always be the only white person. And you don't know whose gona target you just for being in their territory. I've been yelled at numerous times for being white in chula vista and Tijuana.

If it has gotten rougher, my (somewhat uninformed since I've never lived out there) opinion is this has to do with trolley fare enforcement being much laxer since COVID. My understanding is in the past, standard operating procedure was to right fare evaders up for a ticket after maybe one warning. Now my understanding is. While you can still be written up for a ticket. It's much more common nowadays for transit cops to simply force fare evaders to get off at the next stop rather than write them up. If that's the case, understandable why homeless and the like have gotten more bold.
