I am back from Rio, not really easy to come back in France because of the volcano so I have stayed 4 days more in Rio but is it a problem to stay more in Rio I don’t think so
I have rent an apartment with Rioapartment agency in Copa, apartment located about 150 meters from Av Atlantica and very close to the Meia Pataca cost for 75 sqm and 3 rooms about 90 euros/night, very serious agency for rental apartment
Just one thing I was in Rio with a friend ( a man)
First day I have called Starcris very easy to call them, Larissa and Gabriella was available. In 20 minutes they were in the apartment, me with Larissa good look, good sex, just ok but she spoke only portuguese and my friend with gabriella just ok prices 150 real for about 1h30
Second day contact with Divas RJ agency booked Flavia and Sylvia, Sylvia came in first and big surprise and she is really not the girl in the website, that was impossible to do anything with her so I gave her 30 real for taxi and bye bye, then Flavia came what a difference this is the girl in the website very very beautiful, sex perfect I recommand this girl strongly but only portuguese and 450 real for about 2 hours
The others days we were every time in Meia Pataca and we have met many girls like Laura, Arianna, Vanessa…. but you missed one important point

You could have switched girls with your friend at NO charge. or done an orgy, whatever you prefer. You could have done BOTH girls.

Again, better knowledge helps. There are reputable agencies and a lot of trashy fraud agencies, and some in between.

The second girl, you don't know her name, and next time they will do another bait and switch, so probably another girl will come if someone asks for Flavia.

at 10 pm you might be reasonably safe, but at 2 am a taxi is a MUST if you want to be safe

Even at 10 pm, if you go through dark side streets you might prefer to pay a taxi then to take risks. Depends if you are alert, look strong, and are street wise.

FB[/QUOTE]Actually Corcovada opened back up couple of days ago. There was many muds slides that were cleared but from what I could tell the road itself did not have heavy damage. The resto work on the statue will still going on. You knew Rio wold make it a hight priorty to make the tourists happy by getting the road reopened asap.

And Bahia is a beautiful area with lots of cultural sites.

I think she was coming from Barra (to Ipamena) and showed me a receipt for R31. That sounds right from my experience. So, 2X30 = R60 mais. Honestly, I didn't have a problem with that. She was worth it.

I looked again on their site and it looks like the selection is a little better from Barra -- just my opinion. But cab fares would be less from Flamengo.

Bottom line: 120 + 60 = 180 for two hours. Better than you would get hanging around at Balcony (or formerly, Help). And you don't even leave the comfort of home.

taxi fares go up constantly

From the Help area/posto 5 in Copacabana, a one way ride to scortshow is 15-25 Reais, so 35 usually is enough, but during "bandeira 2" and/or traffic jams it can be more.

To karlamodels, a one way ride is 25-35, so that is 45-60 Reais.
If any money is missing, the girl has to pay from her own money. Her meager pay she usually gets on the end of the month. So really, I don't try to stiff her out of a few Reais, i.e. paying 60 if the receipt is for 31. The return trip might cost more. So I would give at least 65.

Of course, the next customer might be in Copacabana and she makes a profit. But you can not count on this.

ChristopherD, if you can find me an agency girl that takes a bus, let me know. I have never seen this in my life. I have seen them walking, but never ever was I suggested that she would take a metro. This is not how things work here. The girls take a bus from home to the agency, but not to customers.

If you don't like that, you can take a bus to karlamodels and then rent a motel.
