Having spent a lot of time in both Thailand and The FKKs, I can agree with most of your conclusions. They are different experiences..
1) Yes most working girls in Thailand are mothers. That is why they are working, they got pregnant and boyfriend/husband left them. They go to BKK or Pattay to work and send money home. I would say 90% are mothers (usually 1 or 2 kids). You can ask them in the bar if it is important. Most are honest about this.
2) I almost always get a BBBJ with Thai girls. Out of ~50 girls, I only had 3 that did not give a BBBJ. Something is not right... Did you take a shower first (this is a pre-requisite for most girls). Talk to them sweetly like a girlfriend?
3) Massage parlors are almost a sure bet for BBBJ and great service.
4) Note that the FKKs cost a lot more 50euros for 30 minutes plus 50Euro entrance. In Bangkok, for the same money, you can pay a barfine, buy drinks, take the girl all night for multiple pops, giver her a nice tip and have money left over. Thailand is a better value. But the girls are more beautiful and work harder (but shorter) in the FKKs.
6) To tell you the truth, I have usually been disappointed with LT bar girls in BKK. I found one that was great and have been dating her for 2 years. I have also had much better luck in Pattaya..much better service.

When you're in a bar, ask if they're a mother ("Do you have baby?") Most are honest about it. There's no hiding stretch marks, so they have to tell the truth. I'm the same way - I don't like taking girls who have a kid because the body is usually a disaster.

ST from Gogos = 1500 - 2000 Bhat (depends how pretty she is)
Drinks = 100 - 150 Bhat per drink.
So, if you take one drink and give the BG a lady drink you have already 300 Bhat damage (including usual tip for waitress)
BF = 600 Bhat
For a good looking girl you can expect 1500 Bhat with a tip of 200 Bhat your damage is 1700 Bhat.
So, all together 2600 Bhat vs 4400 Bhat.

I agree that Thai men are likely to put up with girls whose service is ordinary more so than Farangs, and are more willing to choose whatever girls are left over when place is really busy on saturday night for example. I have I got it wrong and some girls give worse service to farangs than they give to Thais?

Wait a minute.....you tip??? Maybe it's because I live here and have seen prices go up 40%+ in the last 3 years, (or maybe it's because I'm just cheap) but I never tip. And why are you tipping the waitress? Paying 140 baht for a 30 baht beer....no way am I tipping on top of that.

From what I hear from my Thai acquaintances they prioritize appearance and give almost no importance to service. Probably the biggest reason for this is they are generally more potent or more horny than the typical farang, and also they monger less frequently. Thus they don't need much to get going or get off.

In GoGo's I tend to tip, that is true and I have the feeling it's expected from the staff. Example a Beer might cost 120 Bath, I give then a 1000 Bhat note, after a while the witress comes back with a 500, 3 x 100, 3 x 20 Bhat notes and 20 Bhat in coins. The coins are that what they expect as a tip. So, I take the notes and leave the coins. That means that beer cost about 140 Bhat. I saw that even Thai people have the same habbit when they pay in the bill in GoGo's and Discos. Farangs and Thais who take the coins also, get a bad look which says most likely cheap charly. Maybe it's stupid to do so, but I see no real way back to cheap prices from years before.

Two problems are possible with a starfish girl.
1. You just chose the wrong girl.
2. She didn't really like you.
I have overall had fairly good luck with Soi Cowboy girls to the extent I have never even had a single bad one from Suzi Wong. But I do spend time getting to know them and trying to gauge if they are really keen or just putting on an act.
