Taxi from the airport to Mtwapa on a Friday, half past eleven in the morning:
1. 150 ksh.
Because of a long delay in the traffic jams 30 shilling were added.
Does anyone know a guest friendly hotel or apartment in Diani? All I've found in this thread is African Dream Cottages. I guess there will be additional options. Many thanks in advance.
Sofia Baharini. It is not in the beach, but you can walk from there to beach. Baharini shopping center is in walking distance.
I always use that one, reasonable prizes. Bidibadu is more expensive I think? I remember one tourist went to first to try to Bidibadu but then came to Sofia Baharini because did not like rate of room.

What would be a good price to pay from the train station to Mtwapa.
I paid 900 bobs in Feb. Was that a good price.

You don't know what Uber is.
Uber is not a Taxi its a private car used as taxi.
Taxi has more tax to pay to the governments so its twice as expensive then Uber.
Very good price for sure!
We are talking about 1 or 2 USD impact for a half an our minimum uber drive.

Hi all,
So far I have restricted my mongering trips to Nevada, Germany, Netherlands and Thailand. I'm very intrigued by Kenya and Mombasa in particular. I like dark skinned ladies. The problem is that I know absolutely nothing about the country or the mongering scene. I can do my own research on the country, and this site is certainly helpful for the scene but is there any other forum that has particular help for newbies to mongering in Kenya / Africa? It is quite daunting thinking about a trip where the risks are greater than in other mongering destinations (my perception). I'm looking for some newbie info in relation to P4P in Mombasa / Nairobi.
Can anyone help? Thanks.

Ripped off by chicas you can get in any country. You're in for a lot of reading. Browse through the last 20 pages. Its not like Europe here. Here you say Jambo on a street and 20 minutes later you shag.
All you need is a valid passport, Visa Credit card and buy a ticket to Mombasa. Done.
Neddy.
Read dodochens posts just a few pages back all there's to know. There is even a complete map back a few pages
Does anyone know where there are hotels / apartments with mirrors in the bedrooms in Mombasa?) I love to do it and look at the process in the mirror).
Mambo. Back to Mama Africa. Finally after 4 months in Disneyland. Touchdown with Quatar Airways. Yes guys this Airline still offers ALL alcoholic beverages free. After a Taxi dropped me in my secret hideaway. Time for a survey. Life springs out of the ruins. 2 new sports bars. Decent bongo. Around Eagles Nest some new Drinking Dens. Lots of new Liquor stores catering for the alcoholic. On every street corner you see destitute muzungus nursing on their morning tusker. Women in Buibui whizz past on Piki Pikis. Leftover malayas roam the streets. Hawkers trying to sell their wares. Beggars ply their trade. In between catholic nuns rushing to church. Yes finally back. Actually the town looks cleaner now. New LED Streetlights.
Now to the chicas. Casuarina for me waste of time. Apparently under new management. Frequented by absolute hard core malayas wouldn't touch with a pole. But I have different hunting practice. I sit at outside places. Best time to spring the trap between 1600 to sunset. There is pussy in abundance. But I have learned to be discriminate. I took my sweet time. And it paid off. Found nice quiet chica. 27 years no kids. Tight small spinner with rasta dreads. In one of the new sports bars without name near honey pot. And the best part. She paid my beer. After she groped my dick and off we went for steamy sex. She didn't even expect 1000 ksh Taxi money.
I had no small change.
Neddy.
Who still loves dingy Mtwapa.
Good luck Neddy69 - it seems that everything is forgotten about this corrupt country. About 4 years ago many expat left Kenya, because too many robbery, scams and very dangerous situations! But now Kenya seems to be paradise. Many new mongers prise it. Cheap pussies and no risk!

Lock all away in Hardcase. Late night use Pikipiki. Having said that. Mtwapa on the Ocean side is perfectly safe to walk. I just walked home 0400 in the morning. Shanzu and Bamburi is more dangerous when it comes to muggings. Security seems to be better now. haven't heard of muggings in Mombasa Old town or Al Shabab attacks in greater Mombasa area. Unlike 2013.
