Browns and The Griffin are Two strip pubs, I've never been to them but have heard they are good.

Corner of Shoreditch High Street and Hackney road to be precise. So fairly close to the centre of London, at the point where the City of London starts turning into the East End of London. I have found my visits there fairly uninspiring. Unfriendly and humourless bouncers, skilled but cold mannered dancers and arrogant arsey city oiks in suits. I have never felt comfortable in there.

And yes also, Griffin is under the same management.

I do not share your opinion of Browns. I like the place. Hassle free. Felt perfectly at ease.

Not over friendly, I will admit, but if you have an hour or 2 to kill, there are far worst ways to occupy your time.

The girls may not be that friendly, but they are pro, and are all good looking. And the show hardly stops, and you get to see what you have come to see, less than a feet from your eyes, if it is what you like.

Two point to add: no need to take any "private dance, bloddy waste of money. Because this is a "stricly for your eyes only" place.

I saw an advert for a massage place in South Woodford so I decided to check it out. It's the big house on the corner of Chingford road and George Lane. It's flat number 3. I walked in a was greeted by a man who showed me in to a room. There was a lady in there who was late 40's-50's I would say. Told me it was £50 for 30 mins or £90m for the hour. She wasn't really my type so I said I needed cash and left.

since the new management took over, with tips expected, although not mandatory, i have stooped going.

and yes again, beware of the rip off basement places, in front of which scantily clad women try to entice you in. you will get nothing once in, but mafia style threats.

which is why browns is my preferred place. attractive young girls, showing it all for a single pound, and no hassle. cost is your drink (pub price) , plus one pound per girl. average 6 girls, so you can have an hour show. 6 girls, for 10 pounds, and if you go around 4-5 pm, you can see 2 shifts, so an additionnal 6 girls for another 6 pounds. there also, don't go for " private" dance. you won't get anything more, and just pay only for seing the girl in private. but you see as much in the public place.
