Adelita abused elferly women
For over 20 years going to Adelita, I never saw any young girls working there, only older women way passed their prime. Adelita may be more guilty of abusing and exploiting elderly women hehe.
Tijuana mayor Caballero apparently has been focusing on and investigating putas bars. She engaged federal prosecutors to shut Adelita down for not having records proving ALL putas were adults, among other charges. 4 guys, owners and managers of Adelita were arrested, facing grave criminal charges in federal jurisdiction with likely long prison sentences.
Hong Kong and other bars may face charges for not checking putas' health cards and IDs, and having records to prove it. Some putas are obviously carrying diseases.
Looks like mayor Caballero has high-priority agenda in targeting putas bars, trying to "save" the allegedly trafficked hoes, whether they need or want to be saved or not. Thousands of families with single mothers and young children will be starving. Perhaps the mayor should offer skills training and alternative employment to these young single mothers before "saving" and pushing them them into starvation.
Perhaps the mayor should forget about soft targets like the putas and pursue hard-core criminals, drugs cartels pushing drugs on children, raping and murdering people left and right. Those cartel guys are extremely harmful criminals to Mexico, but the mayor is not focusing on them. May be the cartels have money to bribe officials and the hapless single.
Underground networks of pimps and brokers
Employing illegal workers may cause administrative fines but not prison sentences.
Adelita was charged with employing underaged sex workers, which is a serious federal criminal offense, among other charges. The owners and managers are in deep shit in CDMX.
There are extensive underground networks of pimps and brokers in Mexico recruiting and pimping underaged boys and girls. For decades they do a lot more business than putas bars in La Zona. This I gathered from the news and heard from reliable sources.
It's common knowledge among the Mexicans I know. Mexican government must know what's going on all the time but has not taken any actions. They prefer shutting down putas bars for maximum publicity. Poor parents send their children into sex work early. Cartel guys with money, like El Chapo, have been known to purvey sex with the youngest children regularly.
It's depressing to think of all illegal and immoral activities going on as normal life in Mexico.

CBP officer facing bribery, drug charges lived 'secret life' fueled by cash: Prosecutors.

A USA Customs and Border Protection officer accused of allowing cars packed with illegal drugs to cross into the USA From Mexico unchecked lived a secret life away from his stateside family fueled by large amounts of unexplained cash, prosecutors argued.
CBP Officer Leonard George is charged with accepting bribes and conspiracy to transport and distribute controlled substances, including heroin, fentanyl and methamphetamines.
At George's detention hearing, Deputy USA Attorney Bianca Calderon-Penaloz argued George should be held without bail because he's a flight risk. Although George is a USA Citizen, he makes frequent trips to Tijuana to an area known for parties and prostitution. Prosecutors say he made 39 trips to Tijuana so far this year to visit a girlfriend who works at the Hong Kong Gentleman's Club.
A USA Customs and Border Protection officer has been allowing vehicles loaded with drugs to cross the USA -Mexico border, federal prosecutors say. NBC 7's Jackie Crea reports on July 6, 2023.
The prosecution also shared new details about how the drug smuggling scheme worked. A one-year investigation showed that load drivers bringing drugs across the border were instructed to look for the lane where George worked. They would wait for a "go signal" that he was in the lane and the vehicles would pass through George's lane without inspection, said Calderon-Penaloza.
The prosecutor added that George made large cash deposits and large credit card payments with bribe money.
Calderon-Penaloza told the judge George lived a "secret life apart from his wife and children" and that the secretive behavior was leading to a separation.
George's court-appointed lawyer, Andrew Nietor, argued that his client has "significant family and community ties" and that he is married with three children and should not be considered a flight risk.
Judge Barbara Major disagreed. She said the case against George appears to be a strong one and that it appears he has strong ties to Mexico and available cash.
"There are so many factors here that create a risk that he will not appear in court as required," Judge Major said.
George shook his head back and forth in apparent disbelief as his opportunity to bail out of custody was denied. His wife appeared to be holding back tears.
If convicted George could spend 10 years to life in prison.
