Been searching to visit Cali and wanted to know the difference between Granada and El Penon neighborhoods.
And, any recommendation on Case other than Dr. Amor?
Lastly, is it safe to visit this city alone? I am middle aged Asian American and will stick out like a sore thumb.
Any advise will be appreciated.
I would say stay North of the River. Granada would a good location.

Yes theres not a lot of Asians in Cali but I don't think the locals would even notice or care. Cali is safe in area north of the river. Try Bar La 20 lots of chicas there.

I left my phone in the bathroom of the airport. The ones that had a private toilet. Within 10 minutes I went to get it and it was gone. I went nuts looking for it. Turns out one of the cleaners returned it to the lost and found. The guy told me it's your lucky day one in a million.
It was an iPhone X BTW. Just thought I'the share a feel good story.

Facilities are okay, they had two levels with a Turkish spa and hot tub. Entry 25.
If you're looking for a Therma like in Brazil or Germany forget it.
Midweek was a complete sausage fest. The guys were literally climbing over each other to get to the three paid girls who worked there that night.
My Uber driver was aggressive trying to get to the front and he counted those in front of him and he was number 27 for the one girl that he liked.
Kind of like piranhas it was a bit of a Feeding Frenzy and then it was all over very quickly and the girls disappeared.
What was left was a bunch of hugely obese women who went upstairs.
An interesting experience but perhaps it's better on the weekend if you take a girl and speak good Spanish.

You end up with a few couples that get overwhelmed by the feeding frenzy.
Should be a much better experience if you go with a girl who is open minded.
