I was in Bangkok last week (and I will be back tomorrow after a week in Chiang Mai) and I agree that Crazy House is the best bar (at least for me). It is the place where I have the most fun. I was nonetheless surprised to see 20% of the girls with bikinis of some sorts. I have seen days where all the girls were in the nude. Of the few ladies I have bar fined at various gogos every one turned out to be a dud even though they were quite active as you say in the bar and I had built up a bit of a relationship over a few visits before I bar fined them. After adding up the bar bill, lady drinks, bar fine and cost for the lady I found that I got better value from the massage shops as I prefer good service over looks. I now only visit the bars when visitors are in town and on a recent visit to Soi Cowboy found the price of drinks was up and everyone from the mamasan to the waitress to the dancers aggressively pushed for drinks. I did bar fine a cute lady from Suzi Wongs (first in several years) but the session was disappointing so I guess I will remain in my comfort zone with the massage shops and regulars I have found over the years.

English is not my native language, so simple suggestions for good places to visit/stay from senior members would help a lot.

Anyway stay somewhere between BTS Stations ASOK and NANA and you be fine. Also youtube has loads of info. Check video's like [URL]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xH6tp-I3GY[/URL] etc. And you will also get lots of info. Make sure to book a room for 2 always.

If it's your first time and you don't want to do too much research then just stick around the Sukhumvit area with Soi Cowboy and Nana and you will have a good time if you aren't a cheap Charlie.

I just stay at the Hyatt and take the skytrain to either nana or Cowboy and take a taxi back. It's a lot more expensive than $100/ nigt, but there are plenty under that price elsewhere. However, I usually only stay for a night or two and I'm usually coming from a few weeks in some dump of a place, so I spoil myself. You really can't go too wrong staying around Sukhumvit, most of the booking websites allow you just select that area. You may want to stay somewhere else if you specifically want to be near a certain club.

It also depends how long you are staying for as well, since if you want to explore a bit then being close to the metro or skytrain is handy. Around Cowboy has the benefit of being next to both. You can also use the search function to find places as well.

You may need to refine your selection methods. I have had a few duds from CH in my time, of course. Biggest problem is dick scared girls. Of course cannot get GFE from every girl. In fact it is my preferred hotel and I book directly with the hotel as being a regular visitor they offer good deals. It is girl friendly. In fact on a few occasions I have taken 2 girls and they have never asked for any joiner fee for the third person. It has the best location on soi-11. Just a couple of minutes to Nana station. 10 minutes walk either side and you can reach NEP / Soi cowboy. Pretty close to Thermae and soi-11 is a lively street for night life. Plenty of street hookers. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are clean and quite spacious.

Except for the first one, I had connected with every girl I bar fined at least half a dozen times, buying lady drinks, chatting with them and always giving them some extra money for their time. If I didn't think I made a positive connection I moved on to someone else. By the time I bar fined someone I had a fair amount of time and money into it. Had a look in Crazy Cats today. A very small bar. Dtaay, LB ex manager of Suzie Wong, has started work there. Not sure in what capacity exactly, maybe mamasan.

Apparently it used to be the Cocktail Club. Has pool tables upstairs apparently and maybe Karaoke.

Has only girls with good figures, no fatties, but whether they are dressed as Coyotes or not, it seems BF is 2 K for all girls. A 5 minute walk out the front door gives you access to 100's of freelancers, beer bar, soapie or A-Go-Go ladies. The clientele are mostly mongers so zero problems with hotel on that front. If after a couple of days you want to explore the Skytrain is less than a 10 minute walk. It's not fancy but was built with mongering in mind. About $50 us a night includes large breakfast buffet.
