I think the only chance you have on Saturday early in the morning is the junction Av. Prado Junior / Av. Nossa Sra. de Copacabana.
The favela-chicks /drug-addicts hang there around between 5 - 7 at two or three bars having a last beer or joint before creeping home. Do not expect ANY quality -this is real trash.

Centaurus is good for getting a GDP's phone number for after hours and day off activity. They actually respect guys who aren't stupid enough to pay the R$450 termas rate. I used to go for the music (lately this has sucked), have a bite to eat and get a few numbers.
This termas is only recommended for gringos who speak Portuguese well. Otherwise, you will look like the white rat that was thrown to the piranhas. There won't be much left of you (your wallet anyway) when they are done with you.

Carlos gives sensible generalised advice, especially for someone who wants a sure bet and doesn't know the area intimately.
But it is just a generalisation. Briefly -
The girls who[i] only[/i] hang about round there, sitting on parked cars and so on, are almost always junkies or straightforward thieves. If you watch carefully, you will see that the regular girls in the late night bars do not socialise with them. No-one does.
But the girls in the bars that are still open at that time do not fit so neatly into any category. They include junkies. They also include respectable pros who are just enjoying drinking till dawn. They include the usual cocktail of late-nighters, and even (very occasionally) a non-pro who just happens to be there cos she's drinking with her mate who's a pro.
My usual rules include: never pick up anyone at that hour in the Bar Prado/Docas area (the bit of Prado Junior from NS Copa to Viv.Mineiros d.Castro) [b]unless[/b] I know where they've been. eg, I know they've been at Balcony or Alexandra or I know them through people I know already and who can vouch for them enough for me.
Nogueira (on Min d.Castro opposite Barbarella's) is different. You will get there sometimes girls who simply want to wait until the first day bus home starts running. I've picked up several very sweet, substance-free young women there for a couple of hours of fun. Nog will stay open, if there are paying customers, until well after sunrise and sometimes as late as 8.30am. But it is not reliable. You can stay there all night and get nothing. And not really for beginners either, so generally speaking might be more hassle than it's worth for most people.
The bars further up towards Barata Ribeiro have occasional hookers but rarely anything worth hooking up with; and at least one of them can be intolerant of girls who are too obviously GDP or guys that are too obviously mongers.
The whole area is one for caution.
Quite honestly, the best reliable for a Saturday morning is anyone's guess. A late night pick-up the previous night that you want to stay for seconds and thirds seems the best choice. VM might have a few, but not the best ones, and it's a long way to go on the off-chance. I have picked up a tasty 10.30am quickie from the GDP restaurant on the beach (Prado/Atlantica), but that again is just luck. I don't know what time they open for breakfast.

7-9 AM, I can't imagine a worse time to find GPs in Rio.
It's to early for the Centro casas and escort agencies. VM is open, but propably quite dead. Balcony is closed.
If you're really desperate to get laid between 7-9 AM, in Copa, your only options would be Prado Junior and the beach quiosque in front of Balcony. In this quiosque there are usually a couple of drunk and not so beautiful Balcony GPs getting some last beers before going home. At 8 AM they are normally gone.
I often walk a dog down Prado Junior around 7-8 AM. There are always a bunch of GPs outside one of the botecos. A mixture of hardcore GPs, drugaddicts and a few that might not be real women. Only a fool would have his pick here.
Christopherd's advice about Nogueira sounds like the best option, or wait until 10 AM and have e early pick in the Centro casas.

After all the stories of your exploits, I can't imagine you turning down anything. LOL......................I'm usually sleep this time of the morning, and most likely, next to some hottie I met way earlier in the evening.

You should try a early wake-up. Copacabana is spectacular in the early morning. Watch the fantastic sunrise, have a morning run on the beach (more hot girls jogging in the morning than in the evening) and afterwards an açaí and a vitamina de abacate. A start like that gives you a lot of energy to spend in the Centro casas. :p

Take the metro to Uruguania station. Use Google maps to get walking directions to 44 Rua Buenos Aires.

I will be coming back to the wonderful city soon, having been away for almost a year. I am trying to decide a theme; the votes are not yet counted; it seems like anal.
What is the general state of the anal fuck and leite-eating offerings this year, since the closing of Help has shaken up the market? Last year on Rio Branco I was getting everything from a CBJ nervous nellie to a naughty young safada that tried to take me bareback in her arsehole (!). But, in general, a 80% cum-dodge rate, even at L'uomo. Now I just came back from the crazy ceweks in Jakarta who have my spoiled my little colleague and I with their GFE BBFS. Suadades, already! The Metro, as PP explains, is very straightforward.
The bus, you have to work out where to get off. Nearly all buses into town stop either at a) [b]Praca XV[/b] (Praca Quinze, pron. Prassa Kinz); or, for the Express ('[b]Aterro[/b]') buses, at the Perimetral underpass. Almost every Centro bus goes through either Praca XV or Perimetral. The one or two exceptions I can think of land you between Lapa & Centro just off Rua Carioca which isn't much out of your way either. They run 24/7.
[color=blue]Praca XV buses[/color] will often have that on the front. Praca Quinze is fairly easy to recognize as it is the site of Tiradentes Palace (see picture) - on the map, look for 'Paco Imperial'. Traffic travels northwards (up the map) but the bus stop is marked incorrectly by google. You get off on the right hand side, shortly after Tiradentes Palace, cross over past some church buildings, and join Rua Buenos Aires. 4x4 is indicated on the map with a red marker 'A.'
[color=blue]Perimetral buses[/color] are faster. Mostly cos they tend not to stop along the lengthy Flamingo stretch leading to Centro. The bus is usually travelling quickly when it shoots into the dark underpass. Alight swiftly, climb the nearest stairs, and (facing the direction the bus was travelling) turn left. This will take you across the large paved area that is Praca XV. If you don't like getting out in the subway, stay on for one more stop and get off in the region of Pres.Vargas. Buses marked Praca Maua all go this way too.
For coming back, you may feel so chilled that you just want to splurge on a waiting cab outside anyway. If you don't, it's just a few yards to Avenida Rio Branco (turn right as you exit 4x4). Traffic travels south down Rio Branco and you can catch any bus with Copacabana emblazoned across the front. If it's late in the evening, flag it down authoritatively. If it's business hours, you'll need to grab it either at the correct stop or else when it has stopped at traffic lights or in traffic. Just walk up and expect the driver to open the door as if it's the normal thing to do. You can also go back to the underpass and get a bus from there if you want.
