I wonder if they would have ever sent me notice? And if so, would it have been too late to re-schedule on another airline.

I then check my mileage account and at least the bastards put the 35,000 miles I used back into my account so hopefully I will get my $ 26 in tax paid back. So then I check on Kayak for that date and future dates and no more COPA, however the good news is that now I can fly JETBLUE from LAX thru Florida and they have flights that leave at 9:30 PM arriving in Medellin at 9:30 AM so actually better than COPA but no business class. So I'm bummed out but will go in a few weeks.
The bastards didn't even send an E mail, and if it wasn't for the other posters I may have gotten the COVID test and then subsequently find out afterwards it was a no go.

I am booked for a flight from Orlando to Medellin on Oct 16. Earlier today, they showed no flights available until Oct 23. Now they show a flight on the 16th and the 19th, but only one seat available each day. I looked at seat selection on the 16th and there are sections of the plane with all the seats available. The flight from PTY to MDE on the 16th is more than half filled. I tried calling them tonight before they closed. The recording said there is a minimum 30 minutes delay to speak to someone. I looked at "Manage your booking" and everything is normal with the flight. In "Upcoming available flights" it shows the next scheduled flight from Orlando to Medellin is Oct 27. I will try to call tomorrow after they open to see what they tell me. I really don't want to fly Spirit, but that is the only airline flying from Orlando with one stop. Others take more than 20 hours because of multiple stops.
I went to the Eros spa / casa yesterday. I'm was a bit disappointed by the experience. I had been in communication with the "manager" of the place through whatsapp. He had sent me a bunch of pictures of the girls working there. They looked fantastic. He said he also looked at the system travel agents have with the airlines and it shows the flight still scheduled. Probably I will find out next week that the flight is cancelled. Copa is obviously having cash flow problems and is holding on to any cash they get through selling tickets for flights that don't exist. Even the Expedia agent said Copa was very slow processing refunds.

Took more flights from LAX to both Bogota and Medellin than I can count also to / from Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Brazil and of course Panama. I would not fly or even try any other airline but now the website, which use to be almost effortless to schedule and purchase a flight, is crap and their timeliness / cancelled flights is problematic.
I did have a flight scheduled for this past April back to LAX for some business concerns which was obviously cancelled and was issued an e-mail voucher for a future flight however I will not return to LAX for just about any reason now as I resolved my business issues.
I hope they get their shit together as I have hundreds of thousands of COPA miles stored up.

Eros / La Castellana was reported on extensively during the pandemic by me, Blakman and others. The girls will remove their masks of you ask them. The address of the place I believe is 34 a-15 around by 80. I enjoyed it before covid protocol. Cheap and good performances. But Covid safety measures made me not go there anymore.
