Also, is it possible to get any Asians in Columbia.[/QUOTE]I want to leave this at RTFF, but. Look at the maps, World Travel 69 pretty much has everything down with this maps. There is so much in there and for different parts of Bogota, from Santa Fe to Zona Rosa, to other parts of this huge city.

How's your spanish? If decent, you can have a very good time as opposed to someone who doesn't speak spanish and would stand out and risk not having a good time. As for logistics, you should really make sure you have your trip planned well. Bogota is a big city, there's lots to do, lots to see, and you want to be sure about where you are where you're going etc. As for where to stay, go with somewhere in Zona Rosa / Parque 93 if you want to be in a good, safe area. Santa Fe is risky, let's just put it that way. It does not mean you're going to have something bad happen to you, but if you are by yourself and it's your first time I'd advise you to pick another area and visit Santa Fe during the day. Check the maps for bars and casas.

Also, it's Colombia (not Columbia). Minor thing but really, as I work with Colombians I've come to discover that they can be annoyed when the name of their country is misspelled and I agree. The name is a part of their identity, so get it right as that's the least thing you can do. Yes you can find a few Asians, and mixed Asia, but it's not that easy and you should keep your expectations in check about finding them. You are in Latin America after all.

BTW, I wouldn't expect 5 star hotels to be chica friendly in Colombia.

Use google maps. Santa Fe is about 50 minutes southeast of the airport.

Discretion is the key. If you want to bring different girls whenever you want that do not "fit" the clientele (in other words, they are obvious working girls) then they may stop you.

Especially if it's a reservation that was booked for one person or you arrive by yourself. When you check-in to a hotel as a single person, the hotel (4 or 5 star) notes that there is 1 person to the guest room. I will typically get asked "just you sir?" and it's noted on the reservation. You can say "yes" or "I have one other person that will be joining me. " with the latter generally being questioned a bit further. "Can you provide me with the name of the other occupant?" And that's where it has the potential to get a bit meh. Now this isn't always the case, but if you are bringing back different chicas and the same person is at the front desk / securiety there's a good chance you'll get stopped as they'll notice you checked in by yourself and are now bringing up another person to your room. From my experience, American chains are not "chica friendly" in Latin America but there are always hotels that will either not pay attention or not care. But it's safe to assume that they are not "chica friendly" rather than be caught in an uncomfortable situation (I have been stopped, and the chica I was with. Not a working girl but a DC chica). And this was a 5 star hotel, an American chain, and in the north of the city. It can help if the elevators are located in a spot that does not directly take you in front of the front desk or if you know of a side entrance that you can access. Or if it's a busy hotel and you coordinate things properly (as in bring in a chica early) with plenty of guests in the lobby or an event taking place where you can blend in then you have a chance of getting by, but only because you were not noticed due to other distractions.

My experience has been the same as yours, it has never been a problem for me. In addition to your points, it also depends how you carry yourself, and more importantly how you treat the hotel staff, especially the security, and bell boys. Establishing a rapport with the staff will go a long way, and how they will bend the "rules" for you. Being fluent in Spanish helps with this also. Worst case scenario for me has always been, they make a copy of the girl's cedula.

Believe what's your wish, the three hotels where I have not had issues are the Hilton, the Marriot and the Radisson. I always book single occupancy. What Nino Bravo states is right on target, and yes I have had to "register" them on ocassions, all that means is they take their information and that is for security purposes, does not show in the hotel bill and have not had to pay additional charges. But hey that has been my experience "Believe It or Not".

I live in Medellin but just got back from my first trip to Bogota. Overall it was a good time and definitely a place worth visiting, though I am still happy to live in Medellin. Some observations:

There certainly were some beautiful women in Bogota, in fact many more "types" than in Medellin, which is known for a particular look. I saw more thin women in Bogota which is a plus for me, and many stunners. On the other hand, I bumped into far more serious pros as well, many of whom had travel schedules to work in other countries already planned months in advance. They treated their jobs more seriously, some guys would appreciate this while others might not. Getting around town is a pain in the ass since the city is so spread out with houses and traffic is jammed, so be sure to stay in the area you think you will spend the majority of your time. Weather sucked compared to Medellin, by the way. The streets had more gorgeous bodies walking around than in Medellin, in my opinion, but the women also seem somewhat less approachable in normal situations (grocery store, etc). I suppose that is to be expected in larger cities. Also, women in Medellin have prettier faces, and possibly more likely to have fake tits or some other enhancements, again some guys might like it while others not.

I went to several casas and clubs. The best club I visited was Pussy House, the place was packed with talent and guys to take it in. I saw some of the better strippers I've seen in South America in the PH, sexy dances with many ladies of varied looks, everything from hot little black girls with a butt you could bounce a quarter off, to green eyed blonde dressed in pretend school gear. The place was full of pros, with chicas calling over their friends and mauling me while shoving their tongues down my throat. Interesting to say the least, can't remember the last time that happened to me in Medellin, then again, I usually prefer the more subtle come-on. I had enough fun that I returned two nights later and the experience was similar. Only thing about this club is they make you buy a bottle (after 9 pm?) in order to keep a booth and table, and if you're not buying fast enough or a bunch of high rollers come in, they keep shuffling everybody from table to table. At one point it felt like we were all switching tables every 20 minutes. Since most guys won't buy a bottle they have to stand around the stage. This can ruin the view for the rollers at the tables since they're looking at some guys ass in their face and can't see the stage, best to have a chica or two already on your lap at this point. Can't recall how much the rooms were upstairs, and girls quoted all sorts of prices as they're negotiated with the girl. All in all it was a great time.

Visited some other strip clubs in the same area, can't recall the names but they hardly worth mentioning, either lacking quantity, quality, or both.

The casas were numerous in the area just north of the Pussy House. Again, I am terrible with names and usually just keep hitting a list of addresses in a certain area until I find a gem. I wish I had taken better notes to update the map of Bogota, but as is usual in this industry, several of the casas on the map are now closed or at least weren't open midday when I visited. Some were however, and here is my take. Bogota casas have some beautiful chicas and many gave great service as well, even if a little too professional. Their looks made up for it, and by professional I don't mean they were mechanical so much as they tried really hard, which is not a bad thing. Unlike Medellin which is only paisas, I met women from all over the country (Barranquilla, Cali, etc) that were in Bogota to work, even some Venezolanas, one of which I really enjoyed with her big green eyes. Casa hopping is not as fun in Bogota as Medellin since walking the streets is not as pleasant and the weather always threatening to rain and somewhat chilly, people in general are not as friendly and warm, either. So the casas had plenty of talent, some really special and unique, for example one girl was a professional dancer (not stripper) and traveled a lot but didn't make much dancing so worked in the casa when home, legs and ass like steel. One thing I didn't like about the casas in Bogota is the water situation, none of them had hot water, and worse many (maybe half) didn't even have a cold shower on the menu! One hint, if having trouble finding casas that are still open or open your time of day, one can walk down Chile (Calle 72) between Cra. 7 and Caracus on south side of street and get bombarded in the afternoon with flyers for new or open casas.

I liked Bogota and am glad I visited, but still prefer Medellin hands down because the softness of the women here. It was strange that with so many ladies from different cities in Bogota, I can't recall meeting one Paisa there. Likewise, of all the 'rolas' I met, only one had been to Medellin. Maybe that's why Medellin paisas continue to have a distinct look, while Bogota has more diverse appearances being a capital city? Medellin is a large city to remain so homogeneous, and I'm not sure how that came about.

If you could give the specific name of hotel and your experience therein, now safe to assume, that would be useful information.

Just arranged one for a visitor.
