These quotes were comfirmed by girls that I know well in Playpen, Utopia or 3 Angels near 2nd road.

You find these prices different to WS? Last trip in May I was in Iron and asked for barfine for ST past midnight, it was 1250 to the bar plus 2 K for the girl (I didn't pull the trigger).

Price for the girl is the most astonishing to me, I've heard 4 K in 3 Angels, 4 K in Poison (not even a good looking girl, BTW barfine is 2 K there and she asked 2 K for ST upstairs), 5 K from one of my repeat girl from this trip near Beach road side (she is not a bullshit girl so I believe her, and she told me she's been barfined a few times already).

Now both of you (or others on the ground), do your own researches, ask these girls price of BF plus what she expects to get for a night out (even if you're not intending to BF them), come back and report here and we'll see if what I've been quoted is different to what you're hearing, and in which bar precisely.

Last thing is that a lot of girls are getting barfined in the soi, which means a lot of guys are really paying these prices. We just don't realise it on this board because discussions are always polluted by cheap charlies boasting about their 1000 bahts TF trophies like they found a real gem in a sea full of shit, but a lot of guys are spending big bucks in the soi and girls and bar owners are catching up with that reality.

I personnaly don't think the trend will stop anytime soon, given the number of young K-dudes or Chinese dudes roaming the soi every day.

Well, as long as I'm on a roll, I will add a general note about those occasional sweeps of street girls by the cops. LOL.

See, the illegal part is the italicized part of that statement. It is not illegal to be a prostitute in Thailand. But it is illegal to create a [I]public nuisance[/I] about it.

Of course, all it takes for street girls to become a public nuisance is for a nearby hotel, restaurant, residence or I suppose competing bar to lodge a complaint that it is getting so crowded with hookers out there their business' patrons feel intimidated or literally must run the gauntlet of hookers just to reach the entrance to their business.

Or the girls are getting so loud and vocal that the wives and girlfriends of male tourists are annoyed by all this shouting about "boom boom" and "blowjobs".

Anyone remember when the BJ Bars off Soi 8 in Bangkok had to close because the girls sitting outside had gotten too vocal with passersby about what was on offer inside? Then when they were allowed to reopen their style changed from shouting, waving and flagging over potential customers to whispering, "psst. Come inside. Blowjob. " For a while anyway. Not sure how much walking you like but it's not even convenient to walk from that hotel to catch a baht bus at Dolphin round. I assume you're trying to use Marriot points but in Pattaya you're kind of out of luck if you want to be near action. Any hotel along the main baht bus route is doable. In Pattaya there are 3 main action spots, Walking Street, LK Metro / Treetown, and Soi 6. All 3 are easily accessible from the main baht bus route. Can traffic be bad. Yes especially during high season. It is especially bad south of Central Festival heading towards Walking Street. It's bearable from Soi 6 north to Dolphin round on both 2nd Road and Beach Road.

Most girls speak English quite well in Pattaya. Conversation is extremely important to me too if I plan on spending more than an hour with a girl. If I need to use Google Translate she's out unless it's just a quick bang on Soi 6 or a G Club. Best English is likely among the gogo girls. Of course if you are seeking girls over 22 they've been around long enough to all speak English.

I concur with what you said, that's why was taken back when people said they are paying 300 bhats. In my knowledge it's 1200 + 300 fine for ST upstairs.

I told a story before about a young US Marine meeting a 16 year old onlin a couple years ago and him and his colleague hooking up with her and her friend. Her father found out and the guys were in deep shit. My buddy was called in by the Marines to translate a negotiation in the middle of the night. Bringing a girl from central Pattaya to my hotel was not practical, so I ended up renting dismal short term rooms. Next visit I'll stay somewhere between Soi 6 and Walking Street.
