Look around, smell the coffee
I bounce between the Medellin, Jakarta and AC forums. One out of these 3 forums has mostly general information, while the other 2, Jakarta and AC have relevant current pussy hunting info about that particular town. The Jakarta thread just says,"Jakarta" and yet the guys there stay very close to,"who, where, and how much". Here in the Colombian Forum the Med thread says distinctly, Medellin Reports". Now for me that means trip reports, it's not vague, Medellin Reports, it's very clear. Some might think it should read,"Medellin Specifics" but it doesn't. It reads, Medellin Reports but what is plain and simple to some is convoluted to others. Why? Only nature has the answer. A portion of the Colombian mongers do not care about site integrity or ease of use, they only about who wins the debate.
My reason for throwing away valuable time on this is to make it easy to find the important details. For me the important details are, who, where, and how much. That is Jackson's intent on every forum and by filling the main thread in a forum w / extraneous gossip and back and forth back slapping page after page is not quality. A few here will defend it. Why? Because it's easier to be lazy on the front end and just post everything in one thread. The one thread that is being wrecked is the most popular thread by 100%. The Medellin thread has 14, 000 reports, next highest is Cartagena w / 6, 000.
I also think this discussion is a good thing (not necessary in other forums tho) because both sides of the issue have valid points. My firm belief is that the Medellin Reports should be less convoluted.
How to do this in a practical manner? Every post should start out about the, who, where, and how much. Anything that is directly related to that and comes up in a TR belongs on the Medellin Reports forum. What does not belong are post that have no, who, where, and how much. So if Gungadong is in El Centro checking and partaking at the casas and he finds a gem of a restaurant and it is included in his TR it belongs in the Medellin Forum. If Gungadong makes a post asking where are the good restaurants in El Centro then that is complete Bullshit.
It's that simple.
The best argument against fixing the Medellin Reports forum is that who wants to put every different topic in the right container. I agree w / this, it is a pain in the ass to post in all these different forums but if and when one can that's what they should do. It's that simple. I will try and do this as well.
My method though is using General Information because it is easy and a fun read once inside. So what's a better system? Throw very bit of info in the Medellin Reports along w / gratuitous heaps of back slapping? Or cleaning it up a bit and posting general info (all of the above) in General Information. Posting, who, where, and how much in the Medellin Reports. There will always be additional info attached to the,"who where, and how much" because it's part of the meat of the issue. The meat belongs in Medellin Reports as it is w / most other forums where quality info is exchanged by guys who want to help each other live it up.
Like Jonsie said, there is no perfect solution. Rational thought will hopefully win the day. It's a no brainer, the Medellin Reports should stick to the subject matter. Who, where, and how much is the pussy.
Good Luck...
Need advice from the experts
Been in a LDR with this Colombiana since last June but would like to be certain she's not with me only for the visa or that she has a local novio too.
What are the best tricks in the book to test or catch her?
Am asking the mongers who have seen it all haha.
Thanks
