I talk to and treat them like I would any other dating website. If DC was like Backpage, then discussing price may be important. But on DC you have to find out what the woman is looking for. And then you have to discern fact from fiction. Some women actually want a serious relationship, while others pretend to want one.

In my experience those expressing interest but not pushing for a serious relationship, are usually expecting to be fucking guys they hook up with. Some lay back and hope you give them money just before they go home. Some may try to get you to buy enough shit so that they feel compensated for their time spent with you. Others will express being appalled by being offered money. Some are acting offended, some are serious. If one decides to offer money, it is more dignified for a guy to offer it in the spirit that it is for their children and not direct payment for sex. A guy can give a flat amount, at the rate he would for a TLN. Like 3000 x 3 days, plus what you spend for meals, her transpo, cell phone, minutes and other incidentals. You can add or subtract depending on whatever factors are important to you or the chica.

If a chica is impressed by less, then offer less.

But outright working a payment plan with DC hookup? I have never needed to do that with any DC hookups.

My initial impression of Dominican Cupid is positive. I've found a ton of potential candidates in a very short period of time and my search criteria is quite restrictive (18-19, no smoker, no kids, etc.). Of course, it is still way to early to know how many of these girls are actually interested in meeting up when I hit the ground and what that experience will be like.

Some things to know:

* It can take up to 24 hours to have your profile approved (so don't wait until the last minute!

* Although it bills itself as a free site, it is very difficult to communicate without purchasing a package. The Gold package is $30/ month and you can cancel the auto-renew straight away. I see no reason to get the Platinum package, since you can exchange info and video chat elsewhere if that's what you want.

* The interface is clunky, to say the least. For example: clicking on a photo takes you to a sort of pre-profile where you can cycle through photos and see basic information. You have to click "view profile" to see the entire profile. Another example: sometimes you have to click "send message" multiple times before it works. You get what you pay for, I guess, and most users (all of the females!) are not paying anything.

* If you don't speak spanish or your spanish is very bad, you can use the google translate. But know that most of these girls often type phonetically (e. G. , "k" instead of "que".

My strategy:

I don't want to spend a lot of time talking to girls with zero potential (in terms of my interest or theirs in actually meeting up). To sort through this, I run a very restrictive search. Then I cycle through the photos to see if they are attractive and "Show Interest" if they match my preferences. They are notified when you show interest. If they show interest back, I will message. Otherwise, f*ck 'them. You will be notified when others show interest in you. However, if you haven't shown interest in them yet, they are likely outside your search parameters (e. G. , for me it is mostly older women). Remember: you don't want these girls. They are not what you are searching for. So just ignore them and spend your time on others.

An interesting feature is that you can save your search parameters. This is especially convenient if you are showing interest because, when you do, a pink heart lights up by their listing. So when you return to your search, you won't be clicking on girls you've already deemed interesting because you can see by the lit up heart that you've already done your side of the interest showing. I like to run through these searches in batches to prevent being overwhelmed with too many conversations at once. It also means you can cycle through for the cream of the crop first, see if you get any bites, and, if not, return with a less judicial eye.

Obviously this is all just one guy talking. And I don't have a lot of experience with the site. But I'd like to contribute where I can and I've tried to convey what I would have liked to have known when I first got on in order to save some of you guys a bit of time. Good luck out there!

There will not be many women 18-19 who do not have kids that are P4P. Of this demographic most, if not all, will live with their parents and if they are even allowed to go out with you they will have to be home by a certain time. I'm thinking that really the only way you will pull this off is if you run into a chick who is trying to keep up with the Jones and wants an iPhone or shopping spree out of you and is able to lie to her parents. Otherwise it is not realistic at all despite the DR P4P experience you may have had. Despite what many think, the average Dominicana and the P4P Dominicana are night and day. You will be okay for the smoking part though. I don't know of any Dominicanas who smoke outside of maybe a Sosua hooker who will bum one off of a monger.

I was chatting yesterday with one such example on my way to Santiago, despite my full schedule and she even confirmed that she was not a senorita. After checking with mom however, She stated that her mom would give her permission to go out (we had spoken about movie and food) but the mom wanted to meet me first. I really did not have the time and so decided to give it a pass.

For the time being, I am enjoying the chase. I've gotten a few numbers (some give quickly without a request, which makes me think they are semi-pros or full pros. They are hot and meet my search criteria though, so I might still follow up when I am on the ground!).
