Mombasa is correlative to the low wages in overall Kenya. You state,
one hour sex in Mombasa is well worth 2000 KES, meanwhile a woman
working in the flower farms in Naivasha earns 50 KES (yes! fifty KES)
per working day of 10 hours. Very hard work within pesticides.
Also other hard working people as construction workers etc. earn 4000 - 5000
KES per month.
The standard price for expats on low season is 500 KES ST and 1000 KES
LT. Normally the girls get incentives for good performance as upto 500 KES
tip, sometimes matatu money, a good meal and drinks at the home of
the man , drinks or a meal outside. The people of the girls scene know
each other and normally the girls and the clients are interested in a good
relationship beyond the pure sex, so the girls get some drinks and also
some little cash help from time to time.
On the other side a lot of girls and punters want a longer relationship
(GFE experience) so the 1000 KES fee per day is reasonable. The
girls get additionally,food, drinks, transportation. pocket money, travel expenses, clothes, cosmetics and perhaps other presents for catering
longer time for the punter. The Kenyan girls are very good in providing
GFE. And they aprreciate the good life. There is also hope to continue
the relationship with the Muzungu and that he sind some money from
Europe. There are also Muzungu that buy cars and houses.

I think this discussion has reached a conclusion.

My basic objection is that while one might seek services off working girls it seems very odd to despise them as WGs and as women, which is the impression I get from WB. The comments about price etc seem to come down to a game of wits between a WG trying to maximise her income and a punter trying to minimise his expenditure while both starting from very unequal positions.

And from a practical viewpoint you might save money but you're guaranteed to get a poor service.

I don't understand exactly to whom you are directed and what you mean
with your invervention. Your debate about "market prices" is a pure
semantic one. The prices I have stated are based on information from
several expats and also girls. It is a bon mot in Mombasa that the
tariff is "elfu moja shillingi" and this LT since is obvious you pick her
up in the night from the bar or disco. So there is a general consense
about this prices. Of course the girls try to increase it and get this
on the high season or when they get greenhorns who pay more.
So sex is also in a certain way a commodity as offer and demand are
ruling. This are the prices in the Muzungu pick-up joints and in Mtwapa
where a Muzungu is approched by a lot of beautiful girls, or he can
easily approach them.

The prices of Kongoweah, Kibera, etc. have no relevance, who
wants to go to these places? And also it is clear that a dweller of
Bombolulu, the place where a lot of girls are living, gets cheaper sex than

Wrong bcs I NEVER EVER discuss money beforehand. If a girl looks attractive to me and the right chemistry develops over a drink or so, I just rent a room and we do the deed.

My expirience; i´m everytime 4 weeks in Africa; the girls are not stupid
and can count. I found everytime a good LT + what she need for 1000.
If you go in a club and take her home; yes 500 is a bit low.
