We all know old people vote while young people talk a lot. There's a reason why nearly every candidate is terrified to even broach the subject of reducing social security benefits or increasing the cost of medicare. Old people back then had a bias against a Catholic for fear the office of the president would be under the thumb of the Pope and Rome. Kennedy would probably have won by a landslide had he been Protestant.

An angry mob stormed a Mexican hospital to "rescue" a coronavirus patient, claiming the global pandemic is a lie and a government conspiracy, according to news reports.
A crowd of nearly 300 people, egged on by chatter from a local Facebook group, rushed the hospital in Motozintla, in the southern Mexican province of Chiapas, on Monday, demanding to examine the unnamed patient themselves, Mexican News Daily reported.
"Coronavirus is a lie," one member posted on the Mercado Libre de Motozintla Facebook page. "Let's not fall for it. ".
The crowd also demanded an end to coronavirus lockdown restrictions, claiming the virus doesn't really exist, according to the report, originally published Tuesday in the Mexican newspaper El Universal. Family members of the patient, who were part of the mob, said they feared for his safety.
The man was the third resident of the town to be hospitalized with COVID-19 ,the outlet said.
Hospital officials blocked the entrance and called in the national guard, which secured the scene and cordoned off the building and part of a nearby park, the report said.
Mexico had more than 26,000 confirmed coronavirus cases as of Wednesday, with 2,507 dead from the global pandemic, according to Johns Hopkins University.

If you have not spent significant time in Medellin or stuck in only one location then your opinion is biased. Also Cartagena, the paradise by the Caribbean Sea and Bogota, the capital city of 9 million people high in the Andes Mountains will eat Little Ole Tijuana alive when it comes to variety, options, quality, beauty, convenience, price and ambiance. When comparing the overall big picture of Tijuana and Zona Norte to Medellin and its many options across the city, Tijuana loses the big time.

Downtown Centro is very similar to Zona Norte. Food is better in Zona Norte though (Sorry Colombia). But Colombian potatoes are the bomb. Veracruz and Raudal (SW areas near Botero Plaza) are a lot like crusing the Coahuilla alley and streets near Cascadas. If lucky, you will find those gems as I have. If not, then you get the jail baits, trannies, junkies, and etc. Fase Dos, La Isla, and Gustos would be similar to visiting Hong Kong and Adelitas. You cannot compare Medellin to AC. Two different worlds. Medellin can be properly compared to Tijuana, except that Medellin is maybe 10 times bigger, hence a much richer collection.
