Due to a window opening up in my itienary I am returning to Tallinn for a combination of business and some long neglected R & R after far too long a time away - well eight months to be exact. I finally managed to sort out my fravourite type of accommodation, an apartment, after many e-mails and phone calls.

I will be meeting up with Dusty Bin again and hope to report any worthwhile events or information obtained on this board. This board has been far to quiet since the start of the year.

It would be nice to meet up with some of the longstanding contributors to this and/or the Finland board. If anyone wants to meet up for a beer please PM me.

Zim ~ I think that you hit an unfortunate confluence of bad stuff and lack of knowledge. Thanks for telling us about it!

1) The page you referred to is simply an advertising service on behalf of girls and clubs. It would be interesting to note which of the adverts you responded to as I did not see any offering the service you mentioned.

2) 80 Euro is a lot of money for the service you were offered, almost any taxi driver will do the job for much, much less. The girls may well not have been laughing at you, just girls chatting together, often we tend to imagine the worst when we do not understand the language being used. They could have been laughing at you because they could see that the guy had dragged along another mug for their profit and pleasure. They would almost certainly know about your driver and his huge charges. In addition, if you took a girl, the club would also be passing him a commission of at least 24 Euro.

3) The US dollar has declined hugely over the last year or so. For Americans, Europe is no longer a cheap place. Have a chat with your glorious leader about that and start saving money rather than buying on credit. The prices you were charged for drinks were high, but not extortionate, in local terms, but for you, yes, they would seem expensive. In most cases, you can reckon on paying about 150 Kroons for a drink, bearing in mind that you are not buying a drink, but paying for the girl's time.
That prices seem higher for Americans can not be helped except by having special cheap prices for you guys (yeah like that would ever happen!) If you were simply visiting the place to have a fuck, I can't imagine why you would be wanting to buy girls drinks anyway.

4) A girl working in a brothel would almost certainly speak Russian, the place is almost certainly run by Russians, many of the girls would be Russian, a large number of the wealthier clients would be Russian. I live here and, frankly, it is pretty much impossible to tell a girl's origin by sight. There are tall blonde girls with a Russian heritage and short dumpy girls of Baltic extraction. Most girls in brothels are Russian in origin, but I know quite a few who are not and of course a girl born here and with an Estoninan passport might well not describe herself as Russian if she had Estonian citizenship and nationality.
There would have been no reason for her to lie to you about her heritage, but if she thought you were accusing her of lying, well, I am not surprised that service was less than stellar!.

Ask the advertiser and look out for several girls advertising with the same phone number. I would suggest that an individual girl will be a better bet than a girl in a brothel, for whom you are just guy number 3 from an expected six on her shift.

Sorry things did not work out so well for you. Red Club is certainly one of the nicer places in Tallinn, Mikado, I do not know of at all. Sadly, even commercial sex is, in the end, a personal matter and what works well for one person will not be good for another.
Tallinn has a lot to offer, but as always, when doing a new thing, that which seems easiest is not always the best.

Red Club on Livalaia, at about 1 O'clock looking from the Olympia Hotel is open 24 hours. Probably lose a load there...

Linda Line has a fast boat leaving at 21:00 back to Helsinki. If the weather is bad, then you can take a Tallink slow boat overnight that leaves just before midnight.

apologies for the delay in posting this but work has been very busy since my return.

i was in tallinn last month for a short visit. it was a combination of work and r&r. due to changing work commitments this trip was on, off and on again, all in the space of 12 days. therefore i was unable to do my usual detailed preparation. i had experienced major stress and hassles in the 6 months prior to the trip, both personal and work related. on this particular trip the mongering was not an essential element or a high priority of the r&r, but needless to say would never be ignored.

i had managed to book an apartment and part of the deal was to be picked up from the airport. within 45 minutes of the plane landing i was in the apartment completing the paperwork. a quick shopping expedition ensured the apartment was supplied with the essentials. i also eventually obtained a local sim card for my phone after some searching.

i met up with dusty bin and a lady friend of his, l, for diner at argentina on parnu mnt. l suggested inviting one of her friends over to make a foursome, but i unfortunately declined, as i was meeting up with irina who’s number i had from a previous visit.

I spent quite a long time in Tallinn, and I have found that the p4p action here is not as quality as Moscow, St Pete or the other Baltics. This was not always the case. As recent as 2000 there were some astonishing Estonian girls that were available, but EU membership and increase in living standards has cut into the number of girls that NEED to work.

I am in my mid 30's (although I do look younger) and I have never had a problem finding freebies in Tallinn. Some of the venues visited were Bonnie and Clydes, the Amigo, Scotland Yard, VS Tallinn, Nimega, Nimeeta, Amarillo, Asian Aroma. Two very pleasant afternoon periods were spent watching the girls in the Viru centre and outside the Irish Pub on Viru. VS Tallinn and Asian Aroma are 2 places I would recommend to eat. Both provide good food and good value for money.

I was out looking for a watch not to long ago and a friend and I walked up to two 8's on the street and asked where there was a good place to buy a watch. They tried for a few minutes to give us directions and finally just told us to come with them. They took us to a few shops and I actually bought a watch.
