LAST TIME. It's at No. 500 Wuzhong Lu.. Ok. First part is the number of the establisment, second part is road name. Not to difficult surely.

It's due west of the Hilton/Shanghai Hotel area about 10 mins by cab. Everyone knows the road.

Wuzhong Lu is a famous rd in Shanghai. Actually there must be at least 20 Spa sauna's along the road and I'm certain most of them do FS. 699 is another one and that does. Also there are many BBS along the street.

Never been there, but almost certainly will be similar to the Hyatt bar (which btw is not Cloud 9 I just realized, but rather the bar on the first floor, I think. FYI). May have a bit more selection than Hyatt, but will likely be way overpriced and poor quality compared to other options.

Again, just guessing, but it's a fairly educated guess.

It's really a sad day. What remains of the twisted shambles of The Village is but a bunch of trees, a wreckage sites, and a few dark alleys where you can be shown a few girls and the guys will try to demand 300 kuai. I grew up there, in a sense, and the village will always have a place in my heart. It was there for me as a friend when I needed one, it taught me many things, it was a mentor to my entry into mongering, and it soothed me when frustrated or down. What remains today can do none of these things, and is no longer worth the hour long bus ride and 2 kuai it takes to get there. I hereby declare you "the former Village" my old friend. The only other area I've seen of adequate concentrated splendor to be worthy of a long trip, instead of just perusing the limited selection in the local neighborhood, is JinDing Lu. I think it is a worthy successor, and not only that — in the last few months many new shops have opened there. It is flourishing.

I did have one last absolutely excellent experience in the village with a fresh-off-the-farm beauty for 150, but the selection was limited enough that that was just pure luck.

Spent 3 days in Shanghai, had a great time...

Went to Tongren Lu, Manhattans and Judy's unless you have no other options please avoid, the prices have not really dropped and the quality is crap, old ugly and the 1 or 3 nice young Pinays had way too much attitude for my liking.

However went to Zapatas much better looking crowd highly reccomended if you want to put in some effort guys... Much younger and much better looking then Tongren Lu crowd.

Went to Shanghai hotel cant remember the number but got the standard service good as always but as my Chinese is very limited its a really mechanical game which is not for me...

But I found a KTV girl that speaks english tall about 170 cm really nice and spent 2 nights with her, was great because we could communicate between the sex thing good value at 1500 rmb for about 15 hours...

So looking forward to coming back to Shanghai....

I was in Shanghai for business on June 2008 (sorry for the late report!) and had the chance to check on the local scene, guided by information on this thread.

I first went to “999”, near the Stadium, for what was one of the most interesting experiences I have ever had in all my years of mongering. Confident of what to expect by the information I had gathered here, I was greeted like a regular (all those foreigners look alike anyway, right?) and taken directly to the changing room. The boys helped me out with the key to the locker and led me to the shower/sauna area. After the shower, I indicated I wanted to choose a girl and was taken to the display area. Very nice selection, all young, good-natured, some shy, others more aggressive-looking. Chose a petite girl who spoke no English and that, given her looks, was barely legal. She led me to a room with a shower, small bed and mirror. The bathroom area was actually larger than the room itself, and I was soon to find out why. She sprinkled water on me and motioned me to lie down on an inflatable mattress. Than she started washing me carefully, from head to toe, with a very nice touch.

Once in bed, she proceeded to giving me a cat-bath that was just awesome. Smooth lips around my earlobes, wet kisses on my thighs and, as a “grand finale”, a long AR session that would have surprised me – if not for my knowing about it beforehand through ISG. Even before she started the BBBJ and we moved on to the deed itself, I was already more than happy to have followed the very detailed directions I found on this forum.

At some point she asked if I wanted the “red hope”, to which I said yes. That, again, was quite a new experience to me. Pictures that Bad Boy Billy has posted here describe the scene much better than I could ever do in writing, so let me just say that the sight of a naked Chinese beauty spinning around your little brother, while not particularly arousing (at least for me), is indeed quite exotic and enjoyable.

On my second day in Shanghai, I checked the sauna at Shanghai Hotel. Atmosphere is more business-like, as you would expect from facilities in a big hotel, but still very pleasant. Nice lounge area, cold beer and TVs to entertain you between sessions. Better selection of girls and similar service, except for the fact that rooms had no shower facilities (you were expected to have showered by yourself beforehand) and no AR was on offer. Also, the bed in the room they gave me had no sidebars (which, from what I could see, precluded any “red hope” play). I had a very hot skinny girl with boobs bigger than what I believe to be average in Chinese girls. She was more mature and displayed that easiness which comes with long experience in the game. I left feeling that Shanghai Hotel is a nice choice if you are in the area, but for the real thing I’d rather repeat “999”, which is exactly what I did before leaving Shanghai, for a second visit that was as great as the first one.

My only regret is that I did not have time to check on other addresses in Shanghai, a city that surprised me as a great mongering destination. Can't wait to be back!

First up (I) I have RTFF (ii) Thanks for the posts. As a result for the information it has helped me choose a hotel and what to expect.

Second, I have a query here but I will be able to report in July when I have sampled the wares. The query, or rather queries are these (maybe better answered by the seniors here).

Third, I travel from NZ to Europe and usually stopover in HK or Singapore or Osaka. This will be my first time in Shanghai. So be gentle with a newbie please.

1. My preference is for 90 mins plus. What are the saunas that offer that sort of time? I am often happy with an hour but I really hate it when there is a time restraint. It spoils it for me. One option is to go for takeaways and I intend to do that but the Red Rope reports have really got me interested. I had never heard of that before.

2. What is the scene like in the morning. I mean seriously early. Crack of dawn stuff. You know, like 10:00 am or even *whispering now* 9:00 am?

I was in Shanghai last week and have visited China several times over the past year. I stayed in Shanghai Hotel and on my first day in Shanghai this trip I was approached by a lady in Shanghai Hotel telling me that sex is available for 300 rmb. I told her that i am going to my room and will come down in 5 mins.

From past experiences in Shanghai I felt that this could be a trap so I emptied every thing from my pocket in my hotel room safe and then came down. This lady told me that I have to follow her to another place which is like 5 mins walk from the hotel. So I followed her and ofcourse she took me to a pink bar where I was put in a room and then introduced to a line up of girls.

I picked the one i liked and I said I want to leave with the girl as I have no money in my pocket. Still I was told to sit down while girl changes her clothes, so I sat. The girl didn't leave the room instead they quickly brought champagne for the girl and me. I said i don't have money on me and the girls said it is complimentary.

I started to have a feeling that this is not going as planned I again said i want to leave with the girl to my room and told the girl to go change. This girl started to try to take my clothes off. I just told her NO and told her in hotel room. She still didn't leave.

10 mins later i was about pissed off and tried to leave but instead the girl left and her bosses came in with a bill for US$ 500. I knew exactly what was going on and i kept my cool. I told them to follow to my hotel and i will pay them their bill. The guy searched me and found nothing in my pockets but my hotel key. I was asked which room i was staying and i gave them room number. The guy left and came back after 5 mins probably confirming my name and my room number.

Later I was told that I can leave with one of their goons and he will collect the money from me at the Hotel. We walked from Pink bar to my hotel and i was a bit briskly and in front of the guy who was to collect from me. As we approached my hotel. The goon following me tried to tell me that bring money outside. I just ran into the hotel and i started yelling that no come in the hotel and collect your money. The guys just left.

As soon as i walked in the hotel i requested them to change my hotel room and explained everything to the manager at reception. He gladly changed my room and I warned the guy not to give my new hotel room number to any one.

I didn't incur any further problems in Shanghai, but i really think that if you don't follow your instincts in Shanghai you can be in much further trouble then you bargained for. In short I rather do my mongering elsewhere. Since i was on business in Shanghai, I did monger other days but only at places reported on ISG.

Lesson learned "Don't take any chances in Shanghai or for that matter anywhere in China."

Last night on Hengshan Lu a tout actually ran away from ME because I was chasing him, listing the things I needed - "Can she iron? I need two meals a day cooked for me - and I don't like spicy food. I have a friend who is vegetarian, can she cook for him? I want an a-yi that will clean my ceilings - they are all sticky."

But, yeah, don't go with them.

Jinding Lu (金鼎路) is about 20 / 25 kuai (day/night) north-west of Zhongshan Park by taxi. Unfortunately I don't know any convenient bus to go exactly there and very few taxi drivers seem to recognize the name. The best way (since I assume 99% of anyone would be coming from closer to the city center) is to go to ZhenBei Lu & Jinding Lu (金鼎路真北路） and then get your driver to go all the way to the west end of Jinding Lu. The newly opened shops start from the west end.

(Sorry to be shoddy on the information, but I think once I said "go to the West end of" to a driver and since the road actually continues on somewhere further West where there is nothing, I got lost, so that's why I suggest just going West from Jinding & Zhenbei until you reach the end.)

The best thing about Jinding, unlike the former village, is you don't have to wait until 8pm for it to open. I've been there at 2pm and found nice chicks. The BEST I have seen, prime time, though, was a few weeks back at about 1 am where there was a mind-boggling selection of chicks that I wanted and it was hard to make a choice.

Also tell anyone asking more than 150 to get lost. They're usually nice about not ripping you off here, and I've actually gotten full-service for 130 when I didn't discuss the price and the girl just 'assumed' give me the, I guess, normal Chinese price.

I haven't heard of Xiaomuqiao Lu, thanks for the idea, a lot of shops there? Just walk on the segment relatively close to the Damuqiao Subway stop or what? Thanks.
