Destination advice requested from the experts:
I've been to Cartagena several times, loved the "point and shoot" nature of it. Loved the latin look and the stacked late teens early twenties chicas, (ID checked of course).
But I've got an opportunity to monger in Lima Peru, or maybe I should hit Medellin for a week end of June.
How do they compare Lima and Medellin?? I like the street scene, the casas, SW's, don't really care about GFE for me long time is about an hour... after that i want a shower, something to eat and the next chica.
Don't want "walks of shame", law enforcement clean ups, glue huffing druggies etc
Reports and pics by return guaranteed.

For SW's MDE is the winner hands down for price and good selection.
The Casa's in MDE are great and most of the medium priced ones are in a 12 block area. How can you beat 30K for 30 minutes from some very pretty girls?
Lima has more non mongering things to do and the food is way, way better.
As far as glue sniffers in MDE then you have to avoid some of the SW's in El Centro, but they are easy to spot.
For me Lima is an extra 3 hour plane ride and most of the time is more expensive than a plane ticket to MDE.
The weather in June will be much more milder in Lima than MDE.
As far as law enforcement clean ups and milatary presence right now MDE has a lot of that.
Non-mongering doesn't feature on my list really.
Sorry to hear about the clean ups, do you think they'll go away or is this a concerted effort to change the status quo?
I guess there's more chicas in Lima than MDE though maybe more accessible in MDE?
Looking at one hotel in particular, Estelar Pablado Alejandria. Anybody have any info on guest rules? Sorry, but we're not Mansion guys and don't mind paying a bit more.
Is there any girl activity at the casinos, as say, the Veneto in Panama City?
What's a good bar to just sit, perhaps on a walking street, open air and just watch the chica parade?
Thanks.
PS. Did I mention I was the FIRST official guest at the Mansion when it first opened. I remember I had the place to myself for a week. No other guests, no maids, nadie.
Can't imagine that happening again :)
Was a guest of the Castillo for 32 days beginning last Labour Day, on 2 separate occasions, i was the only guest at EITHER Castillo or the Mansion for several days.
It was great to see the staff relaxed and not hand holding for first time visitors.
So if you want to check things out without being overrun by 60yr old gringos, book in September, chances are we'll have the place to ourselves

Go to Parque Lleras Thurs-Sunday nights and enjoy at any bar!

PFP in lima can be like that in some instances although costs are higher in most places( minus the few $6 low low end chongos) and further away.
Getting there is an issue. No so in medellin.
Cheap PFP in lima takes going into gritty areas. It is less of an issue in medellin minus el centro.
GFE is way better in lima. Girls are way more humble and less educated.
* Bottom line - If you wan't to drink and fuck on the cheap choose MDE. If you want options to do more than monger and want a varied itinerary choose Lima.

On most other boards (Panama, Costa Rica and Dominican, since I frequent those areas)you can get a slew of information to new questions with answers not readily found in ROD. Here, everyone wants to protect their own turf and insist the ONLY way to go is to stay at the La Mansion.
Just finished a quick four-day visit to Medellin yesterday. What a surprise -- the South American Games were on, as if these kinds of things show up on the radar. Everything that could be said about Medellin casas has already been said: they are probably the best low-cost option in Latin America, especially when you factor in the body quality of the girls. But, you need to keep checking them out regularly as girl turn-over is high. Another thing is the need to go early in the day before the girls have broken a sweat half-a-dozen times, and used up a half a tube of lube already. There's some serious volume being done in these casas, and some Colombian guys are waiting in line to have a toss with their favorites, who may be your favorites, too.

I'm looking forward to my next 4 day trip too in Spring. I was wondering did you see any sign of casas moving to different areas like they were rumored?
What Casas did you frequent and find to have the best "bang" for your buck?
I have been a long time lurker of another forum for years, I think this is my first post, so Hello, and thanks to all who have provided a lot of insight over the years.
I sketched a trip for myself and my two brothers to Colombia for the week after Easter (April 6. 11). We are flying in from Tampa. We each have some spanish education, but are not fluent by any means. (3 years of Spanish class in high school only, but we are now in our mid-late 30's).
I have hobbied for years, mostly in Asia. Lived in Thailand for over a year and have introduced countless friends to the Asian hobby scene. The 24 hour flights to Asia are tough, and I am ready to move onto something closer to home and completely different. I have never been to South America, but my brothers have both been to and loved Costa Rica. I have been intriqued by Colombia, and have wanted to travel here for years, so I am excited.
So, I have read all kinds of reports, spent hours on here. I guess I wanted to introduce myself to the members and be more active as my trip gets closer. I had always planned on starting with a trip to Cargagena for my first, but my research on this forum has changed my mind lately, and I think I will delve into a Medellin trip first.
I definately value any advice, (where to stay, drivers, where to go, etc) and want to meet up with anyone who wants to take a few newbee's under their wing for an afternoon or evening. I always enjoyed showing newbees around Bangkok or other places, to see their excitement, the same excitement that was new to me when I first traveled to these places, so hopefully there are some fellas who enjoy doing the same for my group.
We are just three fellas looking to experience Colombia, the lovely latin ladies we have heard so much about, try the local cuisine, have a few beers and lots of laughs.
Thanks to all.
I've been here in Medellin the last 2 1/2 weeks and went to 3 casas: Sexi, New Life, and Latinas. I talked to the honcho of each place and asked about having to move. They all said no.
There was a recent election for Congress, I don't know but cant help and think that it was political hyperbole about the casas having to move out of residencial areas.

In fact, if it's your first time. Especially if you don't speak spanish, it's highly recommended that you stay there. Otherwise you need to hire a driver, but it's just easier to find someone at La Mansion and similar places to wing with you and show you where to go and what to do. It will save you a lot of time. You'll be flying solo in no time and can move on to an apartment. But you might even enjoy the company of a wing.

Thanks for the intel report about the "having to move" issue.
So what did you think of the three casas you went to?
I'm planning a short trip this spring and I am looking to expand my mongering.
