So walked by the sidewalk bar again, the crazy girl is not there anymore, neither was the other girl behind the bar (they aren't really bartenders, since all they do is pass the bottles to a guy who does the drinks, but they are more than just random girls that sit there, as they seem to have a relationship with the bar owner, calling her "boss" Maybe she only works a few nights a week? Or moonlights (daylights?) somewhere else?

Anyway, went to Thermae's as I finally saw the neon sign pointing down.

Here are my impressions as a first timer:

1) Not what I expected at all. Lights on, looks kind of like a diner or cafeteria.

2) Glad that there was no smoking inside.

3) Overwhelming the number of girls that were there, and all standing in two concentric circles staring at you as you walk in.

4) I suppose this is a reverse racetrack-- Guys were walking in a circle in between the circles that the girls formed, trying to size up each girl without looking too awkward.

5) Felt awkward, no matter what.

6) 95% Japanese and Korean patrons.

7) Girls mostly tried to have an East Asian look, or cute anime look.

8) I think about 30-40% of the girls were actually very well done post-op ladyboys. Hard to tell. Many of the ones outside were definitely LB.

9) Finally noticed a cutie that I was 99% sure was a girl, and who had a more schoolgirl / girl next door look, and had a slight resemblance to a Japanese pop singer from the 90's-- can't remember which. Very petite and natural spinner.

She quoted 2500ST and even though I know it can be lower, I didn't have time to haggle and she was definitely my type so we went. Her friends were kind of funny too-- the one next to her was also quite cute and said "Why you stay here, go outside!"

Even though she has been doing this for at least a year (but not at Thermae in 6 months), and has traveled to work, she is still in school primarily and seemed a little shy / inexperienced. Or she was a good actress. Either way, talked and built some rapport, then showered, DATY until she came, and then my turn. She was very sweet and gave quite a good performance, not rushed at all, and seemed like she was genuinely into it. Oh, and had a perfect set of perky natural B/Cs and slim body. All in all, a better experience than I expected from a FL and for my first time going to Thermae.

Are there ST Hotels all around Suk? If I'm not familiar with where the ST Hotels are, will the FL's know and I am to just follow where they take me? I guess I don't mind taking them back to my hotel room, but for convenience sakes isn't it better to just find a ST Hotel? For better clarity, I'm staying up by Nana and I'm worried if I find a lady I like in Soi Cowboy, I don't want to come all the way back up to Nana for the use of my room.

If you do take them to your Nana area hotel just give them 100 baht 'taxi' money to return to their original spot.

They also go back the same way. I personally like to use my hotel room and have never used a ST room.

Most girls won't want to walk very far in their working shoes.

Do you know where I could find Sagami 002 condoms in Bangkok? I've seen them for sale in Pattaya, but haven't been able to find them in Bangkok.

That is a decent ST hotel for trysts with Soi Cowboy bargirls. I haven't used it in a few years but it is probably still about 350 baht for an hour or so.

However I don't know if post-op ladyboys are allowed inside. But if they are I think 30-40% is an overestimation.

[/QUOTE]That high of a percentage out of, say, 100 or more ladies would be a rather shocking bit of news regarding the girls of Thermae. Perhaps 1-2 ladyboys, post-op or not, out a hundred ladies might occasionally slip past the very experienced and watchful eyes of the Thermae servers and staff working hard to prevent even one from entering the place ever. Then, of course, such a subterfuge would require either fooling or getting the cooperation of every real girl on either side of those ladyboys who would surely not want the world to start thinking any one of them might be a ladyboy, too. Not likely.

The technology would need to have advanced much further than I or any of those staffers thought and they are really, really, really well done post-ops, even better than one might encounter at Straps in Nana Plaza, possibly the best, most convincing collection of post-op ladyboys in the country if not the world. But even as good as they are, in person they are still easy to spot as ladyboys, imo.

Many guys coming in Thailand for holiday are too much ladyboyphobic and can't recognise a ladyboy by a girl, if they see a girl with huge silicon boobs and alot of surgery they think immediately that is a ladyboy.

This happen many times on another thai-forum when memeber post a pic of a real girl with alot of surgery many guys will start to thinking and write that she is a ladyboy.

99% of the time is very easy to understand if the person is a ladyboy or girl, IMO.

At least in the 17 plus years I have been going there. Perhaps a post-op slips in now and then, but the staff will boot them the minute they are discovered. Now there are plenty of plastic surgery disasters in Thremae that look like LBs, that is for sure.

Her voice and hand gestures were suspect but not totally off the mark and she could have been just a smoker with a bit too much of an androgynous strain. I dropped all interest in taking it further with her/him. It is only because of that one encounter that I am open to the idea that a ladyboy could find his way into Thermae sometimes. But it still would be very rare and, as it was with this one (possibly), he would have to slip in and make sure he didn't interact with the staff or any of the other girls in the place.

Perhaps it's the level of surgery as mentioned, or makeup, that made me suspect. Also a fair number were VERY tall for a Thai. I am a bit more suspicious because last year I had an experience with a go-go in Patpong, where all the girls looked super done up like anime characters, and were very aggressive-- I ended up taking one back, and "she" had big bolt-ONS, was not naturally lubricated, and had a few other suspicious things about "her". To this day I am not sure (if I a tree falls and nobody hears it, does it make a sound? But I am very suspicious of that go-go thinking most if not all of the "girls" in there were post-op. Is this crazy thinking?

As for my first time in Thermae, it just also seemed a bit too good to be true for a good number of the ladies there, hence the suspicion. Luckily the girl I selected was 100% natural, I don't like surgically enhanced girls anyway.
