I have seen what I suspect to be a ladyboy sneak into Thermae but rule of thumb is if staff sees them there they will be removed. It wasn't very difficult for a ladyboy to sneak in through the back door before but would be more difficult now with the back door locked. Now a ladyboy would have to go by the staff at the front door. I didn't see any I suspected to be ladyboys last week.
Are there any massage place in Siam or in a mall in that area that offers extras?

However you can recognise somewhat which are which because the LBs are the prettier ones. LOL. I saw some very nice looking tall Streetwalkers in Soi 4 last night. Unfortunately all the good lookers were LBs, and the real girls very average indeed even without surgeries.
One girl in Suk road was nearly pretty enough, but she wanted 2 K and that sort of soured the deal. I would have been happy to pay 2 K if she turned out to be really good, but the risk was too much. I would require the base price to be somewhat lower till she proved she was worth it. Also she was dressed not to reveal her figure too clearly, so I feared surprises. I think they were granted asylum ahead of the devolution to the Chinese Republic. As far as I can remember they were stunning but they were also inveterate scammers. They even had fake clocks to cheat clients over the time. In Frankfurt they were allowed to work on the same floor as genetic females while pre-ops were segregated to a "man only" floor. I have it on my bucket list to try out a pre-op in Thailand. I haven't done so yet because I don't know how to differentiate between pre and post without asking awkward questions.
I did it in Frankfurt a few times and it was ok. I never formed the habit as in Germany you had plenty of women whose figures can compete. The problem in Thailand is not the number of (mostly pre-ops) LBs. Sao Paulo in Brazil has far more of them IMO. The problem in Thailand is where do you find "bum-bums" and "bundas gostosas", especially if you don't want to limit yourself to the maximally young. Because with age some flabbiness inevitably sets in, and then it's adios to what little curves around the hips were there to begin with.

Most of the readers here including myself are not into LBs sexually at all. I don't think the moderators will make an exception for post-ops at all.
There may be alternate forums for LB things, I would not know. Mostly on here the normal topics are how to identify and avoid LBs.
It is disturbing to me that gogo bars in Bangkok have deteriorated in many ways:
1. Arab's bars with non-fuckable girls
2. LB bars or bars with some LBs.
3. "Coyote" girls over dressed and over priced that are not real Coyotes at all
4. Bars with fat girls of a very young age (bad modern diet)
5. Bars with girls spaced out on drugs, whether Ice or Ya Bah.
6. Bars with lots of girls having ugly tit jobs and freaky nose jobs and other miscellaneous Ops.
7. Deteriorating music to noisy thumping disco stuff with not much real musical quality
8. Rocketing prices compared to much lower price rises in the MP industry.
9. Bars with girls used to or preferring the Asian clientele.
10. Now with the latest government, less nudity.
As GoatS says, it wasn't like this at 20 to 15 years ago.
It is still possible to find a girl slightly like the old days, however she doesn't want to go long time any more, and she is stuck playing games on her phone, or sending messages.
I honestly can't remember lady boys in Nana when I first went there in later 90s, to Lollipop, Pretty lady and Voodoo. I think LBs were mainly in Thaniya PatPong. Now we are over run with ladyboys starting to out number the girls.
Asoke Place ST Hotel has more Japanese customers with Ladyboys than it has customers with real girls, based on my observations. I don't see Farangs or Indians go in there with ladyboys at all. I guess Farangs take them back their own Hotels.

Question: does demand create supply or does supply create demand? as far as red-light district Kathoeys are concerned. I am talking about their relative numbers in Sukhumvit and Patpong. LB's have always been a part of Thailand society since probably the dawn of their civilization, but I do tend to agree with you guys that in say the last 10 to 15 years I have seen a larger number of them making themselves available in nighttime BKK tourist areas. So, is this a sign of what? Increased supply or increased demand.
Here is a little anecdotal report:
One night I went Ramkhamhaeng to have dinner with my Mini in her neighborhood. I always like to visit her because she lives in a lively university neighborhood with a lot of restaurants, music houses and what not, and I am usually the only farang in sight.
So, we drank a little Tequila and made the boom boom in her apartment. I fondly remembered the good times, not so long ago, when Mini was a Baccara Go Go girl and I would hang out with her and her Go Go entourage in the same small studio apartment. I guess Mini was feeling the nostalgia too because she showed me some old pictures from her birthday parties that I celebrated with her and her crew at Red Sun Disco. Mini asked if I remembered those nights and I said of course I did. Those were great times!
Anyway, after 3 or 4 shots of Tequila we headed out for dinner. Mini suggested an open-air restaurant a couple blocks from her place. It was packed with 100 customers maybe more. And Guess what? ALL the hostesses were Ladyboys and not the slim down version trying to pass in Nana type. NO, the ladyboy hostess that escorted us to our table was built like a rugby player and looked pretty rough. She was around 5 ft 5 inches tall with thick legs and very strong looking arms. Now don't get me wrong, I was not phased in the slightest. To me it's all part of the scenery and nightlife of BKK. The rugged, but friendly LB hostess took our drink order and then a girl girl waitress took over. Then during our meal, we were treated to some entertainment in the form of a show consisting of all the ladyboy hostesses in the restaurant. The 6 hostesses got on a stage in front of the dining tables and danced in a very choreographed way to some Molam music and then each one took center stage and lipsinked some other popular tunes. Mini and I enjoyed the show and by the enthusiastic response from all the other diners, I would say everybody enjoyed the entertainment. I still have a video clip of the show on my computer and Mini occasionally asks if I want to go back to that restaurant. I tell her sure. The food was great and we had a good time.
So, I guess I am saying that I think increased demand is drawing Kathoeys to the tourist entertainment areas. It's an easy way to make money. But like all things commercial Thai, I think the tourist oriented Kathoeys are now in oversupply.
P.S. I don't care if the person is a pre-op or post-op, she still can't have babies, so she is still a man biologically speaking. But give medical science another 25 years and this definition may not hold up. Who the fuck knows! 555.
P.S.S. I agree with Syzygies, the topic of doing ladyboys or anything related to their procurement is not allowed. This forum is for men (or girls) interested in balling natural born girls.

[/QUOTE]Could also be possible that education and the economy has improved to a state that girls who used to work in the hospitalty industry years ago now have degrees and / or better jobs. I've flown on Thai Smile a few times recently and the hostesses on the flights have been much cuter than I've seen in the bars recently.

In early days I really only attended Lollipop, Pretty Lady, maybe Hollywood. Whichever bars had the most nudity. Also Angel Witch for shows.
Not sure what year the nude dancing came in. I remember girls in the aquarium at Lollipop I think.
Later I attended Cascade when it was not a LB bar, then had the shock when it changed over.

[/QUOTE]I think what we're seeing is a substantial drop in the number of girls (especially attractive ones) in the nightlife industry, while the number of ladyboys is staying more or less constant. I doubt there are more ladyboys in nightlife areas in terms of absolute numbers, it's just that the proportion of ladyboys to the girls is higher.
On lower Sukhumvit, at least, 10 years ago there were hundreds of attractive and decent female streetwalkers on any given evening. These days, the numbers are lower and all that's left is the bottom-of-the-barrel. Ladyboys now actually pop out for looking prettier than most of the working women still there.
To me, these could be the two factors leading to a perception of more ladyboys around and increased demand.

[/QUOTE]It might be time for you to give dating sites like ThaiFriendly and ThaiCupid another try, assuming you perhaps gave them a try at least once before. Although I realize that is more difficult to do if you have a live-in girlfriend. Maybe impossible. I am now going about 75% with non P4P girls I meet from sites like that or around town in restaurants and shops and filling in the rest with the occasional new go-go dancer or freelancer. That allows me to be a lot pickier with the P4P girls I take and try very hard (but will fail sometimes. To me, these could be the two factors leading to a perception of more ladyboys around and increased demand.[/QUOTE]I agree that the number of ladyboys has remained more or less constant. 4-5 years ago there seemed to be many more very attractive ladyboys strolling along Sukumvit, sitting at the massage shops, standing on Soi 4 just past Hillary 4 bar and on either side of the soi. But during that same time frame 2-3 more Nana Plaza bars have been converted to ladyboy bars and I suspect several of the better looking ladyboys who used to stand or might have stood outside are now working in those bars.
Moreover, ladyboys are far more likely to agree to a session with the now greater influx of Arab, Indian and other less attractive to Thai female customers in the area. And I do believe that is also a big factor in why younger, better looking Thai girls are not showing up in the same numbers as before. Maybe they are online. But they are not showing up to be shopped face-to-face in public by men whose ethnicity they are not culturally used to or inclined to accepting. That factor is not as blatantly obvious to me in Bangkok as it is in Pattaya. But it is still a factor imo.
