Durante el operativo fueron halladas decenas de armas blancas y otros objetos cortantes, así como también la sustancia denominada “plomerito ó acido del diablo”, que portaban muchas de las mujeres detenidas.

Sorry to have to confirm that. But a buddy who lives in Gazcue said the same thiing happened about a month ago and they cam back over a couple week period. However, in talking to the people in the street, it seemed more permanent this time. Still had a great time.

Damn, it must have been spooky walking on Independencia at night with no one on the avenue. Things just won't be the same. I am sure going to miss checking out them 1,000 pesos chicas.

I would imagine it is no problem if you are walking with a "nice" LOL girl at night. I am going to have to wipe the dust off my phone book for my next trip. First Aurora Bar shuts down and now the SWs, both bargain places. Regardless, the high priced casas still won't be getting my hard earned pesos.

Don't forget about the Piano Bar which is now owned by the same folk as GBP. There were 4 chicas when I was there and one was a hottie. Two others doable for the price which is like GBP. Hours are 2-11 pm.

And you're right about Independencia. That was the first time I ever felt nervous about running around the area on foot in the middle of the night. It was like one of those catastrophe movies where everyone had been killed off. And on the back streets of Gazcue, I was hyper aware whenever a car went by slowly. And I walked girls back to the Jaguar from casas twice and both of them were nervous as well. Kept asking me if it was safe. Between the Police and the ladrones, I really wasn't sure.

Damn! We have to get used to the 3000/3500 pesos price range? I have had some good pussies on Independencia & Malecon for under 1500 pesos. This will definitely affect the mongering traffic to the DR.

The street chicas will just move to a different location, probably inside casinos like the Jaragua.

My guess is, give it some time and the chicas will return to the streets. The police will move on to something else to focus on.

If the crackdown lasts, it would be the capitalistic model for the casas to raise prices. That being said, this past week, Girl's House was asking 2500 for short time, the one for which I won a half cigar from BQ and which I thought was Sky High was asking 3500P for short time. I don't remember how much the middle casa, Satin Dolls, was asking. 305 was asking 3500 but the level of talent there was so much better that it was worth the bump. The chica I took out of there was one of the best I ever had. Also, I should add that there was a couple of hottiies in Sky High including a Brasilena. They can crack down all they want but it will not stop me from going to SD. Like you say, we will just have to adapt. I can see it having a larger effect on a SD newbie who will now be restricted to the casas only.

The chicas used to congregate in small groups somewhat hidden behind the trees. Last trip I noticed larger groups of chicas standing in the street strutting their stuff.

I have been to this bar several times, fun place with some fun chicas.

For convenience and for some very hot chicas, if you want you can pay 3,500 pesos.

In bad worldwide economic times, with tourism down throughout the Caribbean, there will always be good prices for pay for play. The police in DR can sweep the streets of chicas all they want, the chicas will not disappear. The 1,000 pesos chicas will still be there.

I'll be in Santo Domingo this month, so I will check out the casinos to see if more chicas are there.

There were street walkers in other areas of Santo Domingo, I saw them on Avenida Espana and on St Vincent de Paul.

The casas will never have a monopoly on the pay for play scene. With the internet, chicas can meet clients online.

My opinion, I don't see the police having the will to keep the chicas off the streets for an overly extended period of time.

As newbie to the forum but a hunter for over 3 decades I must say the crack down will drive the casa prices higher. The art of the game is getting enough digits so that you can make side deals for TLN needs. I was in 305 last night with a pair of my US buddies and we had to pay $200USD each for TLN but 305 has a huge selection of quality girls and proper treatment by the staff and management so we paid. During our ride we saw only 1 SW around 8PM by the ISLA gas station.

If you want and need short term and are on a tight budget Piano Bar Pasteur 56 and GBP gives you the best quality for the price. As for me I will start hunting the barrio's Herrera, Villa Mella, Los Minas for the casa alternatives for TLN needs.

This board was very helpful and of course the 2 trip will be better with the info from this board and always the actual exp from first trip.

One thing I will do different is definitely not be with one Chica as long and will have more of the time for myself. I will not say I will not meet this chica again or another one, but it will only be 2 days at most and than its all free lance for myself. There was nothing wrong with the chica and I had a nice time with her just had a lot better time when I was alone. I basically got it down to 3 out of the 6 days with the chica down from the original 4. Well that wind up being 3. 5 days and that basically left me with 2. 5 days to myself and being a newbie to the place needed more time.

Well after the Chica I was on my own and I went to this casa I am not sure now if it was Satin Dolls or Girls house but I think it was Satin Dolls it was on Pasteur. So I got a taxi and told the host I will be backwhich was my intentions, but the taxi guy had other things in mind after I got more cash he wanted to show me a few other spots and he took me to baby dolls (I remember that one) and it was kind of dead to me there was not that many girls and maybe it was the time I went in.

So the Taxi guy said he had another casa to show me and I do not know the name of this one because its was not in the same area it seems to be in another area different than the satin dolls. Well this casa had about 5 or 6 girls when I came in, but I must say the quality was pretty good and I pick one that really did for it me that I forgot all about the other chica. Now I think the taxi guy must have been friends with the casa owner because he really guided me to this casa and they really seem to know each other.

The chica did not disappoint so I had no problem with the taxi guy in doing this and I did take her phone number which by reading some post on here might have been a good idea. Now do some of the chicas actually live at these casas because it seems like these girls live there it and it was in more of a residential area than a commercial one like satin dolls?

I will share more but I must say this trip exceeded my expectations and just with this trip as a newbie it rivals my trips to Brazil, but much easier and cheaper to get to.
