You are somewhat right. Many of the younger girls from my experience and living here now in general that the younger one's do have a boyfriend and not a pimp as you say. Many of these boyfriends are so selfish like most Thai men I know and hear of is that it's all about the money. They know they are screwing Farangs for money and working in bars but who cares as long as the money keeps coming in to support them. I know first hand a few young girls that give nearly everything they earn to support their boyfriend and then find out while they are working the Thai boyfriend is out screwing around on them. That might explain why so many girls speak poorly of Thai men and want to hook up with a Farang after they have been burned.
I have seen and been around many Thai girls that have Farang boyfriends but in the end when they are more in a setting with their own kind they drinks beer, whiskey and talk alot of sex. In the end I think if they had a equal choice they rather be 100% Thai! But as we know it's the money that's why we are the handsome man.

Regarding thai ladies drinking whisky, mostly they drink ladies drink or juices in bar. It cost you and money goes to gogo bars owners. But freelancers drink beer or hard drinks in discos. But I like women who drink whisky, because it make them naughty and more sexy, and they are not shy.
The Thai girls do enjoy their drinks/cocktails like kamikaze and whisky (Johnnie Walker red/black label). Just go to dance clubs in RCA & Ekkamai where you will find local young thai girls drinking their night away with their friends. The juice/cola in gogo bars is an infalted way for the bar owners to have more profit. However most regulars at Soi Cowboy will know that some of the girls/dancers there enjoy their tequila shots tremendously. I guess apart from us paying blokes. they are also trying to enjoy the moment where possible.
yeah, i do, actually. she's fun, makes me laugh, and has some interesting stories. i treat her like a friend, and we have a respectful relationship. just went round to her apartment this evening and she prepared dinner while i opened the beers. can honestly say that i've had less close and less mature relationships back home.
i know that when i'm not around she's working the circuit for money, and i'm doing the same for pleasure. not sure how that makes her a 'dirty *****', and me some sort of noble creature?
i second your views and disagree with amjeck, and we should not forget that the working girls whilst out to earn a buck, does make not them less human. most of us sell ourselves in so many different ways, some pandering to the boss, pandering to customers where we work and in so many other different ways. i guess it is not fair to call them skanks and us as customers any more noble. it is a willing buyer willing seller transaction like so many things in life.
i used to see a working girl for 3 years when i was working in the middle east, she was from dalian, china and she knew her objectives very clearly ie working to earn back her passage and then saving money for her family in china and she spent time with me as and when i called her and she would also cook meals and sometimes do my laundry. i do pay her a monthly allowance which is from my puntering budget and i really enjoyed her company during weekend day time when we would have a laugh, have some nice wines anmd maybe go to the movies. the companionship is sometimes less headache than a committed relationship. each man to his own i guess but it is so wrong to degrade another person based on their profession, unless you are a drug dealer/[CodeWord126] whom are scums of the earth.
my 2 cents.

Yes almost all thais can tell and most expats too.

BKK vs. MLN
Just a quick question for the seasoned mongers of both LOS & PI.
I will be in HKG with the opportunity to visit either BKK or Manila for 3-4 days next week.
I have been to LOS 3 times but never to Manila..... I however have met and played with many PI ladies in HKG.
So the question is..should I just go to BKK or should I venture to Manila and see it first hand. If it makes any difference..I will be travelling alone and without my wingman. Should I make a recon mission? Any MUST see/do in PI for such a short period of time?
Any pros/cons that make 1 better than the other. It seems from RTFF and my LOS experience that the prices are about the same for room/board and companionship. So I am looking for your esteemed opinion on which you think is better and why, or if it is really just 6 of this or half a dozen of that.
Thanks in advance for any insight(s) you can give me.

Overall, I think the Philippines are cheaper than Thailand. Also, the women seem less reserved. I've sat in coffee shops in Robinson's Mall in the middle of the afternoon and had young attractive girls come up to me and offer their services. If I wasn't interested in them they always had a sister or friend they were willing to call.

Soapy after midnight?
Hello to all,
Please tell me which soapies in Bangkok are open after midnight and how much they charge.
Last year I was in Colonze and liked it there very much.
For Baht 1800 I got a very good service with catbath, BBBJ and FS from a beautyful and friendly girl.
Unfortunately they close at midnight.

Of course they can't tell.
When old bloke is with younger woman, not officially P4P, i.e. not accepting money for sex, often there is no way to tell the difference.
O.K. some hookers are unmistakable, but not all, and some normal girls look just the same.
Some would argue that any girl with with an older guy is a hooker, but this is not technically the case.
But all girls seem to cost money in the end whether P4P or not.
There is a 43 year old Thai girl, who talks more like a Farang and lived in Australia for a long time, who has suddenly shown an interest in me and works in a printing firm. We had sex, not for money, but she dresses very hot to show off her body is still great. So has lost some of the normal Thai shyness after being OS for 15 years.
I'll bet if we went to Thailand togther, many will think she is a hooker unless she changes to dress very proper, but she probably has no clothes like that at all.

BKK for me

CT
I've been to both BKK and Manila. BKK twice and Manila once. I do enjoy Filipinas and have had some great experiences with them. If I had the choice between going to either I would pick BKK. I guess I'm more familiar with BKK and know my way around better. I found Manila a bit cheaper and liked the fact that more people speak English there as well.
I'm sure there are good arguments for either. You might enjoy a change of scenery. Many good ISGers who can give you good info on Manila and the Philippines and share their contacts with you.

Have a bottle of water and a wank in your room

Nearly all the bars are closed tonight. Soi Cowboy is silent except for the remodeling being done on some of the bars. Walked down soi 22 -- there are a few bars open but they have their lights turned off. You can still get drinks in the restaurants - had a meal and a tall beer at Bourbon Street, and The Penalty Spot (near Soi 27) is open as well. You can barfine girls from the latter - some real cuties in there, but quite expensive I imagine.
As to the discussion if you can tell if a girl is a working girl or not, well, sometimes you can, sometimes you can't. I'm an expat who lives here (3 years now), and I can tell most of the time if the girl is a hooker. It's not just how she dresses - it's her body language and the way she talks. If she uses that goddamn Issaan broken English (leaving out the auxiliary verb and using one tense: ie "I boring now", "I take shower", etc.), then yeah, she might be a working girl. Sometimes it's very VERY obvious. A few months ago I was walking out of the MRT on Sukhumvit and I saw a guy that couldn't have been older than 19. He was with a girl - she had dyed red hair, long earrings, short skirt, tattoos, cleavage showing, motorbike scars, too much makeup, and, oh yeah, lots of gold. There's not a doubt in my mind that she was a bargirl.

That could have well been me. :) Not sure about the motorbike scars though...

Never been to the Philippines but as a person who spends quite some time in Singapore and met quite some Pinays here it seems to me that they are indeed less reserved. Maybe it has to do with the language as Pinays speak English much and much better than Thais.

Stop Your Crying
This is all well can good but what are we doing tonight with the bars closed.
We have all known about this for weeks, if not months. Plenty of time to stock up with beer or whatever and plenty of time to schedule girls in advance. So if you are setting in your room all alone with your cock in your hand you have no one to blame but yourself.
