Great actress
Came back last week in one piece!
Got two thirds of my money so I can't complain.
From what I heard she nearly fainted when she realized I was in town according to one of the waiters working at the restaurant.
But the worst part was her not even wanting to admit it and begging me to let her show me her love or that someone else wrote the emails using her hotmail address or that she is so afraid of God she would never cheat on anyone etc.
LOL it was pathetic and sad.

Labels
I have been silent for a while now, but I really don't understand these Cheap Charlie remarks. I have been to most of Latin America, and have been mostly a Budget monger, but at times in Lima (Davids girls) , and in CTG I pay the 150K in LDV. Also one time in BAQ (trip reports # 792, and #793) I overpaid. I really mentioned those two reports as it was one of my best experience's, and you guys might find it a good read after my moaning here. LOL.
Well lets get to IMHO the heart of the matter. Who causes more harm in the Monger Community? Is it the guys who offer girls they know from past trips for 200k on the ISG forums. Is it the guys who say " Hey I'm on vacation. And I don't care what I spend "? I don't see these fellows getting degrading labels. It is a free world when out of sex prison so men can do as they please. That is great.
I noticed for me that overpaying just did not make sense to me. At first I would give 20K for the BBBJ, but one day I had no change, but a 10K note. I gave that, and the smile I got was just like it was 20 K. My last trip to MDE while in Mayorista I noticed the selection was terrible compared to years past. A lot of Grandmas, and Gorditas. It seems the better girls are on the Social networks, and getting top dollar that way.
Maybe if someone can come up with a label for the top dollar guys I will get off my soapbox.
If you are a big spender or a Budget Monger I wish you all the luck in the world.

To answer Hilltopper the name of the restaurant is El Muelle and yes I would definitely recommend it. Especially the seafood.

Or maybe you are referring to El Muelle de la Marina? I know the one on Playa Laguito and can concur, but I've never been to the one at the Marina.

Cartagena
Plane ticket check. Apartmento confirmed check. 1 more day in the States. 6 days in Cartagena. How are the ladies looking at LDV? Heard here that the quality has gone down some. Traveling solo is is safe to head out to Electra by myself or should I try to hook up with someone? Trip report to follow. First time to Cartagena. Been to Thailand, Panama, Curauso, dr, hoping Cartagena lives up to what I have read here. See ya there.

The one on Playa Laguito. Downstairs would be my suggestion.

Social media sites?
Hey guys,
I'm trying to find a new amante. I tried creating a profile on Colombia Cupid but every time I get to the final step it tells me that the site is no longer available. Is this true and if so what other sites can I use or you guys can recommend to meet close to non prepagos ladies?

Cigars/Customs
I notice that the limit on cigars is 50. Even the USA lets you bring in 100. That sucks if I stay for a month.
I was thinking of bringing 100 anyway or bring 50 regular size cigars and 50 or so cigarillo size cigars. I wonder if they would be able to tell (or would it matter) that they are cigars but in cigarette size?
Has anybody offered to pay tax on declared goods and is it worth it?
Thank You for the information.

Tourist Visa Question
Has anyone had Colombian immigration give them more time than the 180 days per year on a tourist visa? I've been here since January, only left the country for 2 days and by my math that should put me at 180 days on July 1st. When I extended my visa at immigration in Medellin they wrote in 26 Juli 14, which I take to mean July 26th. That is definitely over 180 days so will immigration at the airport catch that if I tried to leave on July 26th? The extra days would be convenient, but not if they hand me a nice fat multa on the way out.
I guess I could go back to immigration and ask them but since it looks like they goofed up in the first place I'm not sure I will get a correct answer out of them. Does anyone know if the computers the immigration guys swipe your passport through automatically flag something like over 180 days on a tourist visa? And would it be a good enough defense that immigration stamped my passport with the wrong date? I can see them saying "yeah we gave you more time than you are allowed but you should have known you dumb gringo. Here's a multa for a billion pesos".
I should just play it safe and leave on July 1st, but an extra week or so really would work out great. That is if I don't have to pay out the ying yang on the way out.

Hands down you will be fined and possibly barred from entering the country again.
