If you want to read some trustable reviews, focus on those by DayTony and Smuler. They see ladies in places other than Barcelona and they have no agendas. You can click on their forum names and quickly see their posts, including reviews.

First of all, there are just few, if any, good reviews of strip joints or clubs or pick-up places. In Barcelona, they seem to be rip-off places looking for naive foreigners. Just cross them off your list.
There are a number of brothels that are very friendly to tourists. Personally, I call these large commercial brothels.
