And based on what I've read here and the usual surveys showing a majority of men finishing up in less than 4-5 minutes, that supposed surcharge can't possibly be about time or effort involved with the rare exception of someone like yourself.

Which mostly leaves the element of size as a factor. Other than mere fear of the unkniwn, that is. Even then, we're not really talking about a significant difference between what the Japanese guys are paying and what the rest of us are paying. Unless it turns out the Japanese guys are only paying 1000-1500 baht. Which, as imaginative as that might sound, is frankly more plausible to me than conjuring up some image of a Japanese dude happily paying more than an amount he knows a Farang would have to pay.

I pay whatever I think the girl is worth at the time. If one is just looking for a hole to put their dick in, then please continue these price discussions and banter about the Japanese customers. It has always been my opinion that if both parties are happy, the session will be enjoyable for both. If one or the other is not happy, the session will completely suck. Think about that everyone the next time you try and negotiate for that 500 less.

It's about time. Was a real Thermae rat from 99-07. After that it became quite meh and more expensive. Would never even consider more than 2 k for any of the gals in there. Nice to see some dudes getting 1500.

Barfined for 700 a few days ago, now they say it's 850. Otherwise Bangkok bunnies get's high points from me. OK girls, not too pushy.

They will typically use any unusual event or date on the calendar to tick up the barfines. As I recall, Bangkok Bunnies tried a 1,000 barfine rate on the weekends for a while. Don't know if they still charge that on the weekends. Then again, 850 baht is still less than some other Nana Plaza go-go bars depending on the time of the evening.

But it would certainly explain the busloads of them showing up. I don't imagine busloads of Japanese guys are showing up for the privilege of paying MORE than the Farang standing next to them. If so, then the marketing departments of the Fortune 500 companies I have worked for would be envious of the marketing skills of those Thermae girls. Of course, the companies I worked for weren't selling pussy. LOL.

It is either that and/or the constant drum beat on the Internet and wherever the subject of Thermae is raised that the girls there much prefer or "only go" with Japanese guys. If I were Japanese, I would sure make a beeline for Thermae on that understanding. Like Syzy, I have seen Japanese men negotiating something for much longer than I would spend negotiating anything with a P4P girl before deciding whether to take her or not. I assume it is about price. I have watched two Japanese guys sitting at the bar with a girl they have called over and they seem to be grinding her over some issue in a negotiation for quite a while. And if those same girls are hitting me with a 2,500 baht initial quote with a possible 500 baht Farang surcharge in that quote, then it is entirely possible the Japanese guys must be worrying over whether she'll take less than 2,000 baht.

I would submit that the more often Farangs accept the 2,500 baht initial quote from the girls and treat them politely in the room, the less attractive Japanese customers will start appearing to the girls in Thermae because it is entirely possible that is the top rate they ever get from the Japanese customers, rarely so, and that they usually get significantly less than that. I am ok with paying an attractive Thermae girl 2,500 or even 3,000 baht as long as she agrees to my conditions. But not for what passes as standard procedure in the room these days.

She smiled and we chatted for awhile and she asked me if she could go with me and she said I charge you 2000 baht. Now that to me is a great policy. You can't come back with a lower amount than 2000. And I can assure you that she could wait and get that or more later on.

I've taken a lady every night since I arrived last Saturday. It takes me awhile to finish and every lady was adamant that I finish. It is a pride thing with them if you do not finish. They take it personally. Another thing is that 4 out of 5 did not want to climax because they complained it made them tired and they had to go home or back to work to catch another customer. I always DATY if possible and as long as they shower I assume they are clean. They always push me away after awhile and want to ride cowboy or doggie.

Have never heard of a "surcharge for farangs", is this an unspoken norm? I would think that a surcharge would be put on the horny Japanese guys that in the past would always pay more.

Went to CH last night also. The fuc_ing music was terrible and so loud I just walked out. Ended up having a beer at Lighthouse. The 2 lineups were a freak show. I guess all of the disproportional ladies work there. Strangest group of bodies I have ever seen. And they are all talking, I closed my eyes and it sounded like a chicken ranch.

Also it seemed that the barkers or coyotes were not active last night. Getting lazy I guess. They were all just sitting and not working.

[/QUOTE]Yes CH is well known for music too loud. Careful choice of seat can alleviate it. Being in front of the speakers is not on. It is not the bar with the worst music (nor the best). Shark DJ is shitty although has some okay stuff. We have to realise that young people listen to stuff that we would not call music at all. It is just endlessly repeating percussion and screeches. I don't think Lighthouse is up to scratch for girls.

But I believe that was said to Syzy by at least one Thermae girl he approached who he observed was very popular with Japanese customers or who generally only went with Japanese customers. I am sure he can and should correct the record on that if I have misremembered. Maybe other posters have shared the same experience.

I know several posters have complained about certain soapies charging Farangs an extra 500 baht or so. I rarely if ever go to those places so I can't confirm from personal experience. But even then I would bet the point in doing it is so they can assure their Japanese customers that they, the Japanese, are getting a better deal and paying a lower price than Farangs.
