Food and accommodation depend on your lifestyle and where you decide to stay, but are not hugely expensive in relation to prices in india. I know that for 500 AED I might get Indian, Bangladeshi, Nepali or Filipino. And the better ones [ Russian, european ] for 1500 AED +. You can get very good hotels at budget prices and airfares are quite attractive what with Air Asia and others throwing in deals. If you avail the a hotel which is near to the mongering areas and restrcit your travel to public transport like metro, you will end up saving. And then the main course menu is quite a spread like Soapies, Go-go, MPs etc.

Better to save few times and go enjoy the lifetime experiences of BKK.

Will like to share my experiences in mongering over so many years in Kolkata. As outlined by so many senior members, I agree that SG is best bet from the perspective of safety, LE and diversity and value for money. B K Pal is good, lot of choices within medium quality. But HWs working in day time.

Indi scene is not professional like in Delhi or Bangalore. It is unreliable with lot of fakes. Locanto / Craig List are all bogus and risky. Full of fake numbers.

Impersonation bordering on cyber crime. Please do not fall prey to these ads and put yourself into trouble. There are some reliable SP who are good. But none of them fully reliable.

Quality varies. It is also not safe to visit same place more than twice. People come to know and tip off LE or create trouble.

Best is word of reference as we do in this forum. I am new and do not yet have PM. Can share few numbers for reliable SP and also look forward to get few also.
