I can't imagine how anyone would ever be tired of living in Thailand full time. I just can't picture it. Here I am in the sexual wasteland that's the tri-state area, I've met people from Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland and any number of so called developed and rich nations, and all they ever do is bemoan how tough their life is supposed to be. I mean like really? Then why not just sell it all and come to Thailand. I'd give anything to be Swedish or Norwegian, or from New Zealand, then sell it all and just call it a day at a paradise like Phuket, Pattaya or Chiang Mai or some random small village in rural Thailand. It's got to be better than my life here now. Hell, I spent some time in south east Asia decades ago, so I can get used to the rural life again, at least there won't be war this time.

I agree with Turgid, I can totally see myself spending the rest of my life doing this. For those of you guys already in Thailand living the good life, know how lucky you are. For the love of Asmodeus, don't complain. You have to know how good you have it. Even if you can by some weird reason, actually get tired from fucking all these chicks, think about how awful we have it elsewhere. Then that'll put the smile back on your face. Cause no matter what you're going through, at least you're in Thailand, unlike us sad sacks stuck here in the freaking U S of Meh.

I'm in Langkawi, Malaysia at the moment (with a Thai lady).

My schedule for the next two days when I return to Pattaya is:

That is a saying I have I will speak in " General " before not blowing my horn I think I can safely say there aren't too many members who can say what I'm about to say. I am Chinese American born and raised been here for close to 20 years and live 24/7 close to 365 days a year I do make a trip or two home when necessary for family and personal reasons and 99.5 of my days, months, each year are spent with Thais, if I was walking down a Soi you wouldn't or couldn't spot me out as one, in clubs I get mixed in with Korean, Japanese, and Chinese I make it very clear I'm made in the good old USA I joke with many that I'm a banana, pure white and American inside. I bring that up cause I get asked a lot by Thais how I like living in Thailand the best answer I can give without letting them know how I feel " I can never undo the Thai in you nor can I ever undo the American in me " I bring this up because when I first step foot in Thailand I was as liberal as a person can be without all the PC and Woke nonsense today back home. Today many of my beliefs and views are very conservative living here has opened my eyes I wasn't born yesterday and told I'm as street-wise as they come. The close farangs I know out here on the Darkside when they first met me were somewhat taken aback by being Asian and how loud and opinionated I could be that I was more American than the white ones they knew.

I've heard many through the years people saying " living the dream "Already a few chime in that if you do you're not going to be fucking every day. Not knocking any of them but I've been on this board so long I've seen the writing changes in lots of posters. In the end, it will hit you no matter how exciting your dream might be it could be sitting one night outside at Cheap Charlies having your pork chop dinner dessert apple pie, and vanilla Ice Cream bang it hits you " Is that all there is ".

It comes down to your personality I label it as whether the person is an " Intervert or an Extravert " If you are the type when something is said or done by someone doesn't fit your way you have a need to speak out and express your opinion selfishly not considering there is a place and time for everything the " The grass isn't going to stay green long " no matter how much pussy you dip your stick into at times you might even go out and fuck let out steam to take some revenge back on the the culture and people. See for Grass to stay Green it takes a lot of work.

The culture of the Thais' backward way of thinking will slowly get to you the longer you stay. It was told to me once living here if you become too entrenched in Thailand. I've found those who use Thailand as a base and then bounce around from country to country are better mentally. My best advice is never to burn your bridges sell everything back home and move here until you know for sure.

Don't let your little head do the thinking living here for the pussy but there are lots of other stuff to consider lots. I've seen guys talk the talk come here and run home after a few years with their tails between their legs lucky for them they still had family that took them in. I've met guys who have taken their lives and guys who had their lives taken. As an Asian growing up in America I've had the benefit of traveling to 49 States and had more than my share of being discriminated, and being in jail, never in my dream of living here have I experienced more hate and discrimination to survive I had to bear down and reinvent myself even then I have my moments even with my own Thai Family.

If you can segregate yourself from the Thai culture and their way of thinking a long long stay is possible along with nothing bothering you then it might work. And don't think associating yourself with only foreigners will help I've found at times they can be worse than the Thais. I've been asked to run one of the largest expat organizations I politely smile and said too busy but deep inside I said you got to be fucking crazy.

Good luck, and remember don't dive into whatever dream you have that is exactly what it is your little head is doing all the thinking wake up and smell the coffee, you say you got no life, you think the grass is greener good luck!

Sexpats are the bottom rung of Thai society, no educated or decent Thai person will be your friend.
