Nature of the beast. At least none that I can find on the InterWeb. My best guess? 2% of the girls are making a nice living. 10-20% are getting by. 80% try it and have to drop out in a year or less. The people who own the sites are getting rich. Supposedly there is a high rise building in Medellin where every floor, every room, is occupied by a cam model. Anyone else heard this or can verify? I am pretty sure they don't get free tours, jaja.
Your numbers are pretty close. Just change the 1 year to 1 month or less. Practically every camgirl who makes it a year is supporting herself.
I doubt that building exists. I know of a smaller one, 3 stories, in Manila, that is used exclusively by a webcam studio to provide broadcast rooms for their models.
There are probably several high-rises in Poblado where about 10% of the apartments have webcam models living in them. I knew of at least 6 in my building of 100 apartments and I saw several girls going in and out who appeared to be models.
There are a few models with blogs worth reading, if it interests you. Sofia Storm is a good one to start with. She's originally from Bogota, retired to New Zealand.

Doorman
Guys I'm planning to visit MDE soon, reading the forum daily and gathering a ton of info. I'll stay in a Airbnb. One thing that's making my head spin all this talk about Cedulas and condo doormen.
Maybe I'm overthinking this but I've never had to deal with condo gatekeepers while mongering.
I'm currently in an airbnb near parque lleras and the doormen here are kind of a pain. Keep in mind I don't speak fluent spanish, but from what I gathered they are hesitant to allow visitors because they are afraid of a visitor bringing covid into the building. Again, I'm not 100% sure that's what the guard was saying to me but I'm pretty sure it was along the lines of that. Or that the girl I walked in was pretty obviously a working girl based on how she dressed and just her general demeanor but I never had a problem with it before in the Philippines. Or maybe the guard frowned upon letting working girls in and that was his polite way of saying to cut it out. And to be fair the airbnb listing did say "no sexual tourism" I guess.
Anyways just my experience so far, I guess I'll try using short time hotels from now on. Or try to build more of a rapport with the girl beforehand and say she's a friend or date or something. The girl I invited was straight from mileroticos. Great natural body, morena but mechanical service, I still have her contact info if anyone wants it but she's nothing special. Also, be careful about some of the lube some girls use for anal. Some of the lube they use has a numbing agent in it I guess to make anal more bearable for them but your dick will go numb if it gets on you too. Trust me.
Handle it like a man. Be a bigger man LOL. Is the migration registration 24 hrs before flight the last step. I have the results on my phone. That should be good enough. I got a 96 HR results and waiting on 72 HR results..
I'm pretty sure I am the bigger man. We can measure when I get to Medellin.
I'll send you my standard 30 day consulting contract and you can send me a check.
Yes, between 1-24 hours before your flight fill out the migracióand form. I'd recommend printing your test results, just in case.
Know some cam girls up in Bello and their cams are not shown in Colombia at all, one has a German name and a german them to her "show" and the other Swedish, you cannot even see them in the United States. It is just the way they have it wet up some hoe and then there are some chica in the same warehouse that run cams that can be seen in the USA. That and europe are the big markets. The spanish speaking market is much smaller.
Webcam sites allow the model to block any country they want. Models in the US can block individual states.
You can get around the block with a VPN. However, not all. VPNs work with every site.
You haven't done nothing wrong mate. You have just shared your opinion about her. What's the difference if someone says his opinion through PMs or public?
The difference is, many girls don't want to end up on "the internet. " Some get quite upset about it. If it's a girl you wanted to repeat with, that could be shot down. Worse though, the girls all talk to each other. Your problem with one girl might get you blocked by 50 girls.
I don't even share info in PM without checking with the girl. Not going to get burned again.

The last thing I want to do is book an apartment for 3 weeks and then have issues taking chicas back.
Here is what I'm unsure of / need clarification on.
Is it possible that I can book an apartment where the owner confirms I'm allowed guests but a doorman becomes a gatekeeper and denies entry?
.
This has been covered in this thread in the past and the answer is yes! When you write the people in Airbnb or whichever app you use always ask their policy on visitors and the buildings policy on visitors. I haver heard many people say it can go against you either way. Sometimes the owner of the apartment does not want to be associated with prostitution even though the building has no rules against it, and sometimes the building has rules against it even though the owner might not mind. So I repeat: you need to message the renter using the Airbnb message service and ask about both the buildings policy on visitors and the apartment owners policy on visitors.
Some of us have to find out the hard way that there are all kinds on this board. I learned when I hooked a guy with a chick in Thailand with her permission, but after their meeting she never spoke to me again for some reason. Even when I ran into her in public she would ignore me. I will talk about the where, when, how much, but you got to find your own who. YMMV anyway so no sense in chasing after a chick because of someone else's experience with her. Create your own experiences.
Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!
There are probably 20,000 hookers in Medellin who have never fucked a gringo. There are probably another 50k women who would happily give it up if only someone would ask.
I was walking El Centro with a guy who was a pro level Centro rat. He kept stopping in stores and at kiosks because he knew a woman that worked there. Some had been girlfriends, some one shot girls.
Then he stopped at a kiosk run by an old woman and her granddaughter. He talked to grandma for a few, told her he wanted to take the girl back to his room. She had him buy a dress for 20k. He bought it, gave it to the girl. She gave it back to granny, who hung it back up, and off he went with the girl.

The original poster seems disinclined to RTFF about this subject. A quick workaround is to rent a place in one of the punter clubhouses like San Peter and others. If that's not the preferred way then I recommend a quick search of Lugnut's posts during the May and June period. There are some helpful hints of what to do and what to avoid doing.
I have a question for you guys, have you ever invited a girl to come and visit you in the US instead of you going to Colombia? I am asking because I have a friend who has a reserved suite in Las Vegas and is willing to invite someone as an escort for a weekend.
I don't know if this is possible considering that you would have to have met the girl first and she would have to have a visa, but has anyone ever pulled it off?
The chances of an unemployed young female Colombian, with no family in the US, granted a tourist visa to come to the US is virtually zero. And it would take a lot of time and money to discover she is denied.

Lol: No comment
I am staying out of this battle with you and frankie.
Your learning now when to call a spade a spade, something has been off with the posts from the get go, kinda like the Sjob chronicles, amusing at first, somewhat credible, and then evolving into the absurd.
Maybe now you will consider rehiring me, or perhaps even Jbee2, I could take you deep into the bowels of El Centro and get you laid for 20,000 COP including the room, with a "woman", yet you would have to be tied, blindfolded, and dragged to go along with the program.
.
Surfer500 if you want to be rude by all means do so. Does not bother me.
Blakman Wrote "I am backing you frank1" because it appears blakman Agreed with some of my statementts regarding Colombian photo ID and security.
Then blakman Wrote "Now you lost me No more backing you. LOL" After I made an amusing joke.He even included a laughing out loud as a result of the joke.
Nowhere has blakman Called me a spade, nor said I had been off from the go, nor said that I am like S job Chronicles, nor said I am Amusing, nor somewhat credible, nor that I am absurd.
So why are you putting words into blakman mouth? Black man never said he is learning to call me a spade. He didn't say those things. You, surfer 500, said those things. Surfer 500 that is your own personal opinion.
You know whether you like my post or not I have actually contributed a lot of information. I'm not here to make friends. And I understand I made an crazy amusing joke. Not making apologies. Because I wanted to make that joke.
You surfer 500 keep questioning the veracity of my posts. But you have no evidence nor can you prove that I am lying about anything. So congratulations keep up your critical thinking and read up on Socrates and his friend Aristotle.
But remember this is just your opinion. How about you consider not being rude and let other people make up their own minds, and not put your own words and opinions into their mouth..
You tell him Frank!
What were you thinking Surfer? Being rude to Frank? Everyone knows being rude is my job. Stay in your lane.
Sorry about that Frank. I've been very busy and haven't had time to be properly rude to you. I'm sure Surfer500 was just trying to cover for me.
Nobody doubts your conversation with the 6 red flags girl. It's just that nobody understands why. Anyone with more experience hiring hookers than the Pope, would have walked away after the 3rd red flag. Yet you said her scam was the trickiest one yet. There was nothing tricky about it.
Surfer500 rightfully called you out, that rude bastard. From your posts it appears you have never been to Colombia. It also appears you have very little mongering experience. I don't know if you realize it yet, but none of your jokes have been amusing. As a side note, if you were taking shrapnel in Cambodia while everyone else was watching MTV, you were taking it from a museum.
If I had to guess, I'd say you're probably from a Scandinavian country and you have never been outside of Europe, but that's just a guess.
Prove me wrong. Post something which shows you've been to Colombia.

I'm already scoping out Airbnb's and one states in the rules "visitor friendly" once over 18 with government ID, again who's checking this?
Generally speaking how are these doormen, can they be ok for a few days and then decide no more chicas or are they generally laid back and don't give a rats ass.
Maybe I'm overthinking this but I've never had to deal with condo gatekeepers while mongering.
Most apartment buildings will have security controlling access, called porteros. Unless you're being a dick or causing problems, you have nothing to worry about.

Probably much easier than spending 90-180 days trying to get a girl a visa just to find out she will almost certainly have her application rejected unless she owns property in Colombia.
