All the bars on Soi 6 will not survive with people like you who walk in, order one drink and then do a ST. They will continue to get customers who will happily buy drinks, take the girls ST or LT. My suggestion to you is that if you can't afford to buy drinks or you don't want to buy drinks for the ladies, use Thai Friendly.

Do you think Soi 6 would even be there if they didn't sell lady drinks? Your thought process makes absolutely no sense. The bar makes almost nothing on the cost of the ST room and the girl keeps the whole fee. Therefore, the have to sell drinks. I myself have not seen any difference in soi 6 and I have been here for 14 years. It's just a matter of when it's slow, the girls will push for drinks to make their drink quota so their salary does not get deducted. The reason you think there is a change is because there are fewer customers this high season, so the customers that buy drinks are less. When there were more customers buying drinks, that allowed for the CC to go in and do a quick 1 drink and ST because the girl was not desperate to make her drink quota. This has been the same Soi 6 business model for model and mentality for years. The bar makes no money if they don't sell lady drinks. If the bar does not sell lady drinks, no ladies will go to work there. If the are no ladies, the bar closes. This is Pattaya bar 101. I am surprised you aren't in the know. I agree with you. Go to another soi, but wait, the same concept applies in all bars. Hmmmm. Stick to FLs then.

Went to Soi 6 tonight and had a great time.

500 room fee + 1500st + 195 worth of drinks.

2195 baht total for a comfortable room and a good looking, friendly 20 yo girl. No rush, no clock watching.

As far as being "cheap" and being a "one drink guy" well I think the bars need to offer more if they want more money. They offer nothing to me other than to collect some girls in the same location. They lost the advantage they had in the pre-smart phone days.

I will always be a 1-lady drink guy in the bars and if things aren't going to go how I want. I will leave.

And it has nothing to do with "being able to afford it."

BTW, the girls are drinking Fanta half the time anyway. So why go through the charade of buying drinks. The bars seem to be quite parasitic to the whole process, IMO.

I think they are in business to get money from whichever angle they can get it from. If that includes guys coming in to buy drinks, guys on the webcast buying drinks, guys taking chicks short time, or however else they can get money into the till. Personally I have never gone out to any bar whether normal or hooker with the intention of buying a bunch of drinks. I have always gone out to bars or discos with the intention of finding chicks. Hell, anyone can drink at home for much cheaper.

There is a reason guys complain after buying a bunch of drinks then finding out a chick is not going to fuck. They were not really there because they wanted to buy the drinks; they were there because that is where the pussy is. Nobody is going out to normal discos and just buying a bunch of drinks for chicks they have no intention of trying to fuck. On Soi 6 you know that you can fuck without the song and dance of buying drinks to try to butter a chick up or get her drunk enough to agree to fuck.

First one when the work was far from finished had the pool table upstairs. Cannot imagine it was hauled up there unless that was its intended destination. Now it's downstairs and the second EP video does show couches with curtains. Don't understand why the owner of Catflaps (who also owns MMs) would not want to replicate and put rooms in MMs. Maybe just too little space. I like the ST rooms in Fate though those in High Rollers are a bit grim. But a room is better than a curtain in my opinion. That said, had one night in Heavens above when guys were at it in full view. So neither room nor curtain would have assisted!

Not everyone needs to or wants to sit at a bar buying drinks and LDs to assess a lady and what not. Some guys just walk up to a lady they find attractive and get a vibe from, speak to her for a minute and take her upstairs.

Personally I don't drink, I don't care for the loud bar environment, therefore I do as mentioned. I guess that makes me a low life according to you. But the bar makes money on the room and the lady makes money on ST and I save money not having to sit at a bar buying soda. Win win win IMO. To each their own.

Whats the point of sitting across an illiterate village girl while she sips (or gulps) sugar water? Thats why buying drinks in GCs and even some gogos like Kink and Windmill is fun. I never said you had to buy yourself a drink or a lady drink. The OP felt he was seen as cheap for ONLY buying 1 drink and I said he wasn't being cheap. If you don't buy a drink just don't come on here after a crap session saying how the girl was bad for the next few months. Now if you are able to assess how good a girl's performance is by talking to her for one minute you're a better man than I am. I'm pretty risk averse in wasting money on a bad session as I never feel the need to rush in to a selection.

My issue was with guys who walk up to Soi 6 girls and try to bypass every part of how a bar makes money. No drink for himself, no lady drink, only wants a girl's Line ID so he can skip paying a barfine, then if the girl Lines him he will try to negotiate for 700 baht with the girl. I don't think this is acceptable behavior. You don't have to agree with my opinion I'm ok with that.

I overpaid for an 18 hour tryst in the recent past with a lady who goes by the name of Wansini (Lemonk14 on TF). I have a feeling she may be a Muslim Thai lady. Yada yada yada.

Anyway, how it started was I was fecking around on TF 5-6 weeks back. And saw her. Loved her instantly and wanted her. Jokingly offered 10 k for long term. She had never responded to me before BUT that time, when she instantly said yes. Well, I was befuddled, but had to honor my deal. 10 k it was and what a glorious night of DATY, BBBJ and CFS it was. Over and over. Then she slept 14 hours or so. Boomed me again a few times and adios muchaches.

I have been back in Pattaya a week or so and was bored today so LINED said Wansini and asked about LT under my new cell NOS and Thai ID. 8 k she responded.

WTF. I can get other girls for 3 k LT.

Moral is. I ruined a market by overpaying in the 1st place for a nice piece of ass. But in the month since I've seen her she has put on the beef (4-5 kg seriously) and now wants a gods ransom.

If all the soi 6 bars had 100% customers like you, they wouldn't be there and soi 6 would be gone in a flash. I look at Soi 6 as a place to go to drink, meet girls, and then fuck them. If any punter buys drinks and then is refused a bar fine, it's their own fault for not asking first if the girl will go.
