There was not anything I would call wining and dining. We WALKED to Benito Juarez for Mexican. We went to Las Flores where there are tons of seafood restaurants that many working class people go to at lunchtime. We went to the salon where I always get my nails done. My nails, her nails and hair 150K. We watched the new Borat on my laptop. I am thinking we are about to go to a nice restaurant for dinner and she ends up taking me to a food court restaurant at the mall.

I have also said why pay so much for a flashy chick when you can get a normal chick and make her flashy yourself. Without the hair, makeup, and provocative clothing all those broads look the same. Take a normal chick to fix her hair and makeup and get her some nice threads and you have your own personal "instagram model" just like the ones in the pictures that many guys drool over.

I agree. Hairdo, make up and clothing makes a big difference in women. I notice that mostly when I go to my homeland in the island. You see a girl at house looking normal and wouldn't even give her a second. Then see her hair done, makeup, sexy clothing and wow. But do sound like you in love LOL.

Don't date girls without reputation. Some of the girls in Columbia do have threads just look in the local forum Don Colombia. Also there has to be some accountability some guys think asking for her ID is silly but is It really silly? Get as much info as you can before hand her pictures her social media profile video real name ID. If you collect all this data it will be harder to become a victim and the thief will go look for someone easier to rob.

If One has an account with savings, then block the card. If They are savings why do you need a card that facilitates withdrawing the money?completely unnecessary. Only the account with everyday money should have a card.

How to be safe? What do you suggest?

If it had been a card from a USA bank, the card would of been blocked after a few transactions, and regardless, the user would not be liable for fraudulent use. It's unfortunate what happened and the mistake he made was carrying the card with him outside of his Hotel but perhaps based on what transpired he didn't have the option to lock it up before going out. God forbid if the Chica had been allowed in his Hotel, he may have been missing a lot more.

I am sure this attributed to the results which was actually 1%. I do noticed an influx of foreigners during my 2 mile daily walk. Flyers be aware. Pattern of flights being cancelled and you have to hastily reschedule.

First post! It's been cool reading the forum and appreciate all the insight. I'm from the US and I've booked my flight to arrive November 13th. The 17th in Parque Lleras. Couple questions for the forum. 1. Has anyone been successful in using a BinaxNOW rapid test as sufficient evidence that you're covid free or are they hard up on the PCR? And 2. Do you need some sort of exit immigration for you need to fill out in order to leave the country? Thanks.

Is it one specific carrier, or all of them.

I'm assuming you have been affected by this, or know somebody who has, hence this would be good information to share for others with flights already scheduled.

It's been happening for years, but many guys don't report it, along with the other scams and robberies. There's a bit of embarrassment after you've fallen victim to something like this.

Here's something everyone should learn from that:

You aren't that good looking.

Colombian women aren't typically extremely forward. They'll smile at you and if you approach them, they'll talk to you, but it's not common for a woman to approach you. Even the prostitutes tend to be more reserved. Chances are slim that any Colombian woman is going to approach you. If one does, the best you can hope for is that she's a hooker who is getting desperate.

You might be able to get through with the BinaxNOW test. Or you might get off the plane in Medellin and get sent out on the next flight. Would that outcome be acceptable to you?

2. Unless my memory is messing with me, you have to check through Immigration before you leave. It's just a quick formality, only takes a few minutes depending on how long the line is.

I filled that same form out online but put exit. I don't think it was needed though because nobody said anything about it to me when I was leaving Colombia as they did when I was heading there.
