On those dating sites, if their profile says something like "Stunning_TS", it's probably best to avoid that one if you aren't into lady boys. I would think if that one was so up front with you, there must have been some reference to them being a transsexual in their profile. The site with the most lady boys seems to be dateinasia. So probably best to avoid that one if you are new in town and have trouble telling the difference.

Actually, I don't see the need to use any of those sites. It's safer just to go to CJ's and meet a girl in person. You can't be sure what you are getting on those sites.

Many of my "freebie dates" (being in the right market mix) have been hit on this way. The smart ones insist to talk to the guy who is offereing to send the diamonds etc. They then wonder why a guy who in his pic has blue eyes white skin and blond hair talks like a Nigerian. Thats when they realise its a scam attempt.

I had forgotten the names (until you brought it up), but I recall JJ's and Tanumur (sp?) from my very first days there. This was in '03, so they were in steep decline (I realized later). Firstly I would like to thank people for their assistance in the last couple of years in offering advice. I have read through the posts here and it is has been very helpful. I am not familiar with Jakarta at all and have three days and nights there in mid January purely to have some R&R and I am staying at the Atlet Century Park Hotel with a budget of 7,000,000 k for entertainment.

My question for the board is how I should spend this? That is which clubs you would recommend I visit being a novice in Jakarta I am not into ear splitting techno music and like a little conversation and a few drinks with my potential date. I am looking for both day time and night time entertainment.

I was interested to read that Russian girls are available in Jakarta have always wanted to try one as none available in my area at home. So I would like to know as well where to find them and what they demand in the form of remuneration, but the other days and nights seeking attractive Indonesian girls. Any suggestion on how to spend my three days and nights will be greatly appreciated.

If you can't figure it out yourself, tell the driver to go to Stadium and walk north, looking to your right, or go to the junction of Hayam Wuruk and Manga Besar and walk south, looking to your left, or if he knows the name, just tell him to go to Kartika on Hayam Wuruk.

Maybe there is only one Kartika in the forum, but a few weeks back, when I told the taxi driver to go to Kartika Spa and Massage I ended up at Kartika Chandra Hotel. Moreover I have also seen Kartika Utama, which was a shopping mall! He obviously did not know the Kartika we mean. I fully understand (and share) the confusion of Xovation.
