Had to do a trip into Bangkok to the USA Embassy today the 5th, since the appointment was really early in the morning make plans to stay overnight. In my post I was not describing any need to rush the choice of a girl at Thermae. I was merely referring to how absolutely easy it was to get a girl, and I mean ANY girl in those days.

There was no need for any negotiation unless you wanted it. The 3 of us were staging a competition to see who could get in and out of Thermae choosing a girl. Unlike your post describing refusals, the period from 30 years ago that I am describing was notable for no refusals. The girls would actively jump in front of you and say "me me me".
