One of my Thai friend (massage therapist) is thinking of leaving Chandigarh for good due to alot of recent police action and shift to Pune.

Can any brother put some light on pros & cons of Pune as compared to Chandigarh. Like Chandigarh used to be very dry sometime back but after covid its getting more lively here with alot of action going on in pubs, MPs & all. She used to work in a spa and used to earn by providing extras there but now she doesn't know when she will be back to that spa (she was working there from quite a lot of time).

Guys if anyone of you can put some light on Pune scene will be very helpfull.

I can always provide refrence for Chandigarh if needed.

1: Calcutta has more Thai & NE therapist compared with Pune for sure.

2: Most SPAs I have visited in Pune don't offer FS at least o first visit while in Calcutta its pretty common to get.

3: SPA charges in Pune are higher and so are the extras offered.

That being said, I made 2 Thai friends from my SPA visit so far in Calcutta, one of them now moved to Dubai and the other to Ahmedabad.

This is just headsup to give package scam done by mofo receptionist at Lux spa at Aakash mall.

I never had intention to opt any spa package but here I was lurked by this asshole receptionist by offering 5 k for 7 hrs package.

While opting for package, he promised to offer following.

1. package can be claimed at another branch also.

2. Appointment can be availed any day and take upto 90 mins.

But in reality, none was offered and asked me to take appointment only on weekday and denied to claim package at another location which he was claiming good ambience but setup is very dirty and noisy doesn't match even 20% of Viman nagar branch.

Moreover, the guy attitude is very worst and rude, behaves like owner. He bluntly lying to the face without any guiltiness and manner less. I had to pay counter charges of 1500 rs at another branch since I had travelled 10 km already.

As many of you came across such poor tactics already by these assholes however this post only to create awareness who were thinking to opt package here and anywhere for caution.

Pune is a much bigger city than chandigarh with spa's spread around the city. Some high end to very low end as well. I have seen Thais working in all kinds of spas so she shouldn't have a problem getting into one here.

As regards to LE activity, it is here in Pune too but I don't think the risk is as much as you see in Chandigarh simply because Chandigarh is smaller city with lesser number of spas concentrated in specific areas so chances of them being raided are much more since LE needs its Moolah somehow. I would say the probability of you getting caught is lot lesser in Pune than in Chandigarh.

Regarding earning via extras. Well Pune she will earn more than what she earns in Chandigarh. Having said that the cost of living is higher in Pune but then there are many Thais here so she won't have issues finding her community here and thereby a place to stay. I am sure if she digs deeper, she will find some thai contact in Pune.
