I believe this rather unique sexual service that you are talking about is called the helicopter ride. This service was offered to me one time on the 5th floor of Hotel Alexis in Jakarta 3 or 4 years ago. I did not go for it then because the 5th floor import Chinese girls were not my spec and I knew there were much prettier and younger Indo girls waiting for me up in the 7th floor lounge. Seems like you did not visit the Grace enough times to have clear memories, just like my REX memories are rather vague now. Jesse James clearly visited the Grace more often and I went there sometimes.

JJ is partly right. I would not dare say "not ME at all" however to say "almost exclusively Middle Eastern" is well wide of the mark even up to 1991 (27 years ago). It may well be that the Grace became more Middle Eastern dominated in later years.

What I would say, was the Grace girls tended to be a bit older and plumper than at the Thermae, but still having variety. My Farang buddy liked Grace Coffee shop girls (plump ones) more than I did. There were heaps of Farang customers in there, so That I did not notice any ME dominance at all. Me liking skinny girls, I found the Thermae was giving me a better range of girls.

Sex was great. I had a very low amount of Thai, and was no big deal that communication was quite difficult. I learned a hell of a lot, by listening.

My first visit to BKK was in 1997. At that time Grace was mainly a middle eastern hangout with ladies that appeal to those guys. By 2000 it was overwhelmingly middle eastern. Years ago a guy on a Shanghai street keep bugging me to let him take me for red rope service or as he called it led lope. I had no idea what he was talking about and walked away from him. Easy to use. Also I used in it Vietnam but with less success. Works and is used in S. E. Asia widely I believe, and other places. If you use the People Nearby-type function it scans for other users. Just download for free.

Thanks.[/QUOTE]What the others say about Wechat is correct. It is a free downloadable app for your iOS or Android device. It uses cellular data or WiFi to communicate.

I've used it two different ways. First, when I meet someone they will give me their Wechat ID and then we can communicate worldwide (text, voice messages, video chat). Second, using the "Discover-People Nearby" option, you can find girls who are within about 20 km of you. I don't understand how, but, I have found girls in China through people nearby while I was in USA; apparently there is a way to set your location to something other than your actual location.

Wechat is very popular in many parts of Asia, especially China. Very little use in USA.

In densely populated parts of Asia, people nearby will find too many girls to consider, often they are professionals (e.g., Sukhumvit Soi 11). I don't think it goes as far as 20 km in those situations. In less densely populated portions of USA, you will find zero girls within the 20 km range.

I've twice had success finding non-P4P girls in both USA and Thailand. While in Sukhumvit area, many P4P girls have messaged me through people nearby (keep your people nearby active, if you want this).

Wechat also has "shake" and "message in a bottle", which conceptually could be used to find someone. They have been useless for me.

I have UK passport so on arrival at immigration I get 30 day visa stamped in my passport but this time my partner will come with me but she has an Indian passport. Will she have to go to visa on arrival? Does it take long to get visa on arrival and what documents will they ask for and how long will she get on her visa? I know it is a lot to ask but if anyone with Indian passport has experience I would really appreciate any help.

Yes. She can get a visa on arrival usually takes about 15 to 20 minutes to get it, maakt sur you carry her passport size Photo with you and some thai baht I guess the fee is 1000 baht is easy and simple.

Better to print your bank details and printout of the hotel booking and return ticket. They almost always asked me the hotel booking and return ticket.

Also, you can consider paying additional 200 THB for fast processing of your visa application. The process is a breeze, takes only a couple of minutes and, IMHO, is worth the paltry additional sum.
