When you're eating all this dead food, your gut is going to be dead and loaded with bad bacteria. The only Filipinas I've ever been with are all relatively poor, none were even semi pros, and all were very low mileage. All very clean, and I've never caught even a drip, so I doubt if any were infected. One of them hadn't had sex in 3 years, and others up to a year. And I'd say 20+% had some odor. And its generally ONLY in the Philippines. Never happens to me in China, Malaysia, HK, Cambodia or Indonesia. There the ladies seem to be able to entertain themselves a tad better. But in a country where the tv shows are, shall we be kind and say lacking in content.

Where there are million of under or unemployed, where texts cost next to nothing, where theres a low boredom threshold, reason and reasonable behaviour goes out the window.

Yes you will be an asshole if you "assume" that any employee is sexually available. I recall a friend complaining about unwanted touching by her boss as cashier at a neighborhood bakery. She had no recourse except to quit the job, which she did. So don't assume, get it straight when hiring. If hiring through an agency, especially for a household maid, the agency can prescreen. Or so I've heard. I personally do not want intimacy with any employee, because of the possible complicatiions. I briefly employed as housekeeper a former bed partner. She assured me she would be okay with the sight of other girls. But it turned out she could not enter the house when there was an extra pair of shoes outside the door. I won't even bed someone from the near neighborhood. That's the way they are. I'm sure the Thai are not much different when it comes to workplace harassment.

Commonglass, you will find its extremely common in the Philippines that most girls will ask you if you are working in the country, have a company or know someone who does. It is hard to imagine how difficult finding a job is for the girls.
