General Info

Hi,

I am headed back to CTG in Nov. Do any of you have experience with Copa airlines. They go through Panama City with less than 1 hour between connecting flights? How is that possible to go through customs that quickly. Do you frequently wind up not making the connection (it is later at night) and wind up on an early AM flight. This has happened to me before with Avianca through Bogota. A few days before the flight they contact you and say late flight cancelled, need to go in AM.

Airport in Panama is easy to get from gate to gate. 10-15 minute walk from one end to the other. My layovers have been more or less an hour in the past and I make the walk from gate to gate in 5 minutes usually. No need to pass through customs as you are not staying in Panana. I highly recommend Copa flights through Panama City.

For me this statement by SavPros is huge. I am always wondering why this and why that and SavPro provides one of the answers here.

If you're an average looking Joe (here in sex prison) you will have to break the law to have a little intimacy and that's getting harder to do (now) because there is more scrutiny from the PC government.

Women have the upper hand here. Nature made us all different but women in the USA don't tolerate the differences. They don't like it when men enjoy themselves sexually and so p4p here is illegal.

I'm stuck in Dallas for a few days on business.

Went out to a strip club tonight.

Talked to a couple average looking strippers at best.

They said I could go to the Champagne room with the both of them, for an hour, for $1500.

These girls actually think they're worth that $.

I did get along great with the sexy chocolate waitress though.

Everytime I bought a drink, maybe 3, I gave her a nice tip, maybe $30 total.

We talked for a while and when leaving she passed me her number.

So maybe Dallas could actually get fun, LOL.

Here in Atlanta that is par for the course on any given night, but you don't have to go to a strip club. Hot young black women all over the place, ready to hook up, and if you're an in shape, handsome white guy it's even easier. Closest thing to Colombia. Young black women here are very friendly and open and don't mind larger age differences.

Thanks[/QUOTE]Taxis are easy and cheap. You can get them from anywhere. Drivers are friendly and cool to interact with. 5 k -15 k for ordinary distances within the city.

If using from the airport confirm the price immediately with the driver. Should be 60-70 k depending on where you are going. Use the white taxis if available. I usually tip an extra 10 k upon arrival at the apartment.

I seem to remember reading something last year about the USA Relaxing the visa requirements for Colombians in 2015. Anyone have some intell on this?

Thanks[/QUOTE]Guess the question is why? In only a 5 day trip you won't have enough time to see the city much less checking out the neighbouring small towns. Save the driving to the cheap cab drivers. Have a few drinks and enjoy yourself. Hell I'm going for 5 weeks in 10 days and wouldn't think of renting a car. I enjoy the idea of not having to worry about driving. May rent a motorcycle to go check out the countryside for a couple days. But in the city. Check out the metro a couple times a grab a cab. IMHO.

The US Embassy has been more generous in the past though, regarding giving tourist visas to Colombians as the other poster stated.

I believe that in 2015 Colombians will not be required to have a visa to visit most European countries.
