It helps if you do some search on "Bukit Bintang" in KL thread.

You should define midrange: 50USD to 100 USD?
Any hotels along Bukit Bintang are great: Health Centres or Spas (in place of MP) inside most hotels offer 'services" - basically they are high class sex shop.

if you have dough to burn, JW Marriot is a nice place. Sheraton Imperial (now its Imperial) is also a nice place, only 2 Monorail stops from BB.
