I have been there (recently) and there is good news and bad news about it.

Good News:- It is very open and welcoming ('Green') and no problem for ladies (me) being there and going to rooms with guests. No problem at all. I think they don't have a problem with ladies there because they don't see many (or any) ladies there.

Bad news:- It is a very very long wayaway and very difficult and expensive to get there in a taxi. So, ladies will not go there hoping to find a guy because it is a big expensive risk if they don't find one. They will only go there if they have arranged a booking with a guy who they trust will not run away and really the ladies would not want to go all that way and spend a lot of time traveling to be with a guest for a quick hour. Usually the ladies I know would want to go for a few hours or 'All night until breakfast.'

It is not so bad for me because I drive in my own small car but most ladies don't have a car.

So Klawhileonard, when you arrive for stay at the Sofitel I think you will not have good chance to find ladies there, it would better for you to go to Jufffair or Manama to find a lady and make a deal with her that you will take her in your taxi to the Sofitel and send her home again later or the next morning. Or before you come to Bahrain you could make an arrangement with one of the ladies from the internet if you can find one who will believe you and who you will trust to arrive.

Or, stay at a different hotel, there are lots of nice ones where it will be much easier.

If I have made a mistake and he answers about vegetable because he does not want a lady, I can always say something about better vegetables in the next row or 'these are very nice fried with garlic' and then move away. But usually they know what I mean.

This works quite often.

But, I can not find out what your "TCWS" is about. What does it mean? I have checked the abbreviations list in the main menu here on ISG but I can not find your TCWS. It is embarrassing because I am supposed to know about things like this. Help!

My list puts your four hotels in the this order;.

1. 'K' Hotel. - Very easy. I never had any problem at this hotel arriving or going to guests rooms.

2. Crown Plaza. Easy. No problem visiting guests rooms if the lady is with the guest. Meet in the Harvester bar or in the lobby / cafe and go up to the room no problem. A lady going direct to the room alone might be more difficult, staff and security people do watch what is happening.

3. Rotana Downtown. - Not so easy. This hotel does not have a bar or club and staff watch carefully. This hotel is mainly Saudi Arabia people and families.

4. Wyndham Gardens. Don't know. I have never been to this Wyndham Gardens and I don't know anybody who works there. Have not heard of any ladies having success or not here.

- Ramee International (75 meters from your 'K' hotel) bar on 2nd floor or underground Rockies bar.

- The English pub at the Diva hotel.

- Pars Hotel bar. Boomers.

- Juffair Grand (3 good bars).

- Davy Crockets Bar.

- The 'K' hotel has a bar on the ground floor where ladies often go (including me sometimes).

- Wembley bar at the Atiram Hotel.

This week and last week the Police in Bahrain have been very, very busy catching ladies, it is because it is Ramadan.

They have been to flats and houses where they know Asian ladies live and they are watching on the streets around Juffair very carefully. I know ladies who have been taken away by the Police this week. I think also Police are watching internet sites to catch ladies too.

Until Eid at the end of Ramadan I will be staying at home and not meeting guys at all, also a lot of my friends are doing the same thing.

If you want something more suitable for bringing girls you should go for apartments. My favorite are the spot and juffair trends. Pros are walking distance to cavallo, social monkey and level 5, Girls can come and leave no questions asked and no need to register them. Cons too far from the American ally unless you have a car.

What is the situation the day after Ramadan, May 12. Can I grab a drink at the usual spots (Ramee, California, K, Juffair Grand, Atiram. Etc) ?

I will be coming from KSA (expat) for 5 days? On the PCR side, I just need one to get in and no need for a 2nd PCR since I will be returning to KSA on the 5th day? Is my understanding correct?
