Was in Bkk this December last. Have been to Shock 39 quite a few times and it is a place you want to go to if you're looking for mainly CIS (mostly Uzbek) and Ukraininan FLs. Was there pre-Christmas and there was no dearth of WGs at that time and there were a decent number of good looking ones as well. However, the overall ambience of the club is very average and you may not want to stay there for any longer than is necessary. I'd recommend getting there at around 11, making your selection in an hour or so and getting out by 12-12.30. Levels, on Soi 11, is where you can find some real Thai stunners and the club itself is also nice. Also, the Soi is one of the most happening ones and worth checking out. Have been to Mixx, Pattaya and it was quite disappointing, with a dead vibe. Haven't tried Mixx, Bkk but have not read many good reviews of the place either here or on other forums. Many complain about excessively loud music and less than friendly staff. However, YMMV. Hope this helps. Enjoy!
Sounds like I may stop by Shock39 just to get a feel of these Ukrainians. I usually stay away from the Russians, since their attitudes stink from miles away. Typically whenever I travel overseas, I would prefer to taste the local cuisines whenever possible and stay away from the imports. However, there are exceptions in developed countries like Singapore (Mostly Filipinos or Vietnamese and almost impossible to find locals) or FKK Germany (mostly Romanians though there are good German girls to be had occasionally).

Agreed on Soi 11. That's where all the touristy action is. Perhaps overly so, with overcrowding, etc. But definitely very very happening, especially in peak season like Christmas. (and yes, Levels is a nice place, even if a little small for my taste).
It's really a shame that CM2 has closed down. That is where I would see the hottest international women in BKK. Though several years ago with Mixx at its heyday, there was an Uzbek girl there who was one of the hottest girls I had seen anywhere (and I've been around) . But I balked at the price. (which started at 5 k baht).
P.S. Generally speaking, one is not allowed to complain about "excessively loud music" at a nightclub. This means you are old and you don't belong there. Clubs by definition will play EDM at a certain volume, always considered "too loud" by old or rapidly aging people. The music will be the loudest by the dance floor, per design. This is why really good venues are larger and will have space within the club away from the dance floor where one can withdraw and conceivably be able to have a conversation. (I will grant that none of these places in Bangkok fit that bill and they're always loud everywhere inside) In upper end places, this is typically a VIP area with couches. Also the staff at high flying, recently opened venues is rarely "friendly". These complaints are clearly from people who have never ever been to a real nightclub recently back home (because they're old) and should really stick to beer bars, etc.

I think most music in Asian countries (and elsewhere including USA) is too loud so I must be too old, too. And I play rock / jazz / folk guitar and sing non-professionally.
This is a duplicate post from my earlier post in a different section. Hopefully someone may be able to provide me with some info. This is my previous post.
I will be passing through Bangkok this May for a few days and plan to check out the nightclubs while I am there. Recommendation or feedback on the ones to avoid is greatly appreciated.
This is my list so far.
- Insanity.
- Levels (Is this the one over at aLoft?
- Mixx.
- GLOW.
- Shock39.
- NARZ.
- Route 66.
I am also hoping to get some intel on the quality and market rate of FL found in these clubs. Thanks.
I was at Levels and insanity last night.
Insanity had some kind of lame DJ concert going. Some FLs and regular girls. Many old and not very attractive. Did not find one single girl that was even passable at the whole place.
Levels was not that much better. Again mostly older FLs. Girls are dressed nice but on closer inspection are a bit passed their "sell date". There is a group of attractive younger girls there that are regulars and there every night. But they are friends with my ex so off limits to me.
Gave up on the clubs at about 2:30 AM (was seeing the same old faces over and over again). Fortunately met an attractive slim girl outside Thermae and went for a nice fun ST. Lovely girl and hotter than any of the available girls at Levels or Insanity.
Did not try Shock 39 as I'm not interested in CIS. Mixx: I've been to before and not all that great. I do need to get to RCA one day, but from what I hear the scene is mostly regular girls.
FL scene is way better in Pattaya where you have Ibar and Lucifer.

Pimping for Sairung
Old monger here. I have been there and done that. This report is about a FL that I pulled from Craigslist, which is not my usual way to go. Sairung advertised as 26. She has become my once a week experience when I need my world truly rocked. She then revealed that she is actually 34. She had me fooled. She is not fat and looks good dressed and naked. She shows very slight baby damage. She does everything but anal and bb. I do not DFK so not sure about that. She has tricks I have never experienced before. She is quite good and sensuous with rimming and BBBJ. The other aspect is she prides herself on un-rushed ST. She actually wants to prolong your explosion. She dropped her CL ad because she said the language aspect was too challenging for her. We seem to do ok though. She tries for 2000. She will accept 1500 if you are not abrasive about it. I said I would share her info with senior members here by PM and she agreed. PM me if you want to try Sairung.

L0 lItas
Can I begin this report by stating what an unfathomable turnoff it is for me to hear male moaning in my general vicinity when I'm engaged in any kind of sexual activity? Instead of structural separation, L0 lItas in Bangkok have partitioned customers using curtains only. On my left was someone who sounded about 150 years old and suffering from asthma. On my right was a gentleman who, based on the sounds he emanated, seemed to be auditioning very enthusiastically for a pornographic movie.
The girl who selected me (I know, mea culpa) was young and pretty, which meant poor technique and lousy service. The fact that I was able to finish at all can only be explained by the fact that it had been a week.
I won't return to this place. Might try Kasalong next time.
At least you got a little something for your money. Personally, I think the go-go bars are an expensive way to find pussy compared to the massage shops so I have avoided them for the most part over the last few years. However, a friend was soon to leave Thailand and we ended up in the Dollhouse. He found a sweet lady and was having a nice time while I just sat there watching the show not wanting to get into the lady drink game but a very pretty lady danced a few sexy dances for me and against my better judgement I agreed to buy her a drink. She left the stage, went directly to the bar, got herself a drink and returning to my table set the 380 baht drink down and said "I have to go to the bathroom". That was the only thing she said to me and the last I saw of her. I complained to the mamasan but got the "do you think I give a fuck look". Not a good way to do business in a declining market.
Correct however the up market Soapies are also expensive, and girls are hit and miss.
I still use bar girls (very few) due to being able to spend time with them before deciding, being able to see the bodies, almost fully, etc. Or just having experience with them and preferring them over other girls I know (especially in the looks and body department). I go to bars mostly for purpose of sex, or sometimes just to have a look. Having a look is not that costly. One drink usually enough. To go barfine a regular does not have to be massively expensive, granted it is still more than an oily. However at least I know what I getting and can way up, is it worth it. Occasions to take a new bargirl are rare and dependent on many things being very positive.
Sometimes having a great time, and partying is more important than the exact price. Depends on if in money saving mode or not. Sometimes our time and fun is more valuable than our money. Depends on the individual's situation, importance of the girl's looks, her service, etc.
Naturally we know a bar girl is going to cost more. Would not risk it with a new girl without good reasons. Coyote girls are outside my risk zone, unless she is simply stunning. (can happen). Coyotes can have crap tits covered by a two layer bra. I need to see the tits first, in addition to finding her irresistible for some reason. I have taken a Coyote girl, but was a cheaper variety and very rare I do so. One was a girl known since years before as great wild fuck. So I did not care her tits were known to be small.
I think most music in Asian countries (and elsewhere including USA) is too loud so I must be too old, too. And I play rock / jazz / folk guitar and sing non-professionally.
I like to go to a place in Jakarta called Malio club. It has sexy dancers. They used to dance nude, but now wear bikinis due to government crack downs. Anyway, I go there a lot and never have a problem with the music. But one night a few months ago, there was literally nobody in the place other than my friend and I and the music was so damn loud I couldn't stand it. I had to leave, it was just too damn loud to take. The guy I went with is half deaf anyway and he thought it was loud but he could stand it. He's older than me. Since then, the music has always been loud, but not unbearable like that one night. But that one night, the guy I was with was telling me I must be getting old. While that may be true, I think it had zero to do with the fact that the music was too damn loud that night. He's one to talk about getting old, his hearing is so bad that he can rarely hear anything anyone says in a normal conversation in a restaurant with no music.
You've been saying that same thing for about 10 years now, so you must be getting to that "too old" age as well.
Maybe, maybe not.
Certainly I don't find music in these clubs to be "too loud" (actually Ill take that back. Shock 39 definitely overdoes it, depending on where one has to stand).
But at the very least you will give me points for being "self-aware" then, right? .btw.you're an indo dude.. had you been to the now closed "Stadium"? was that too loud?
D Cups, I remember going to Smashing Pumpkin concert when I was still "young".
My ears were literally ringing and buzzing for several hours after the concert (I had good seats)
and you're a "rock" musician, eh?
Uncle Volodya - agree with you on your observations vis a vis freelancers at those places. Many many past "sell" date. RCA complex definitely non pros.
what in your opinion makes the Pattaya discos better? younger/hotter girls?

Eden Club Soi 7.
I went by the Eden Club last week, a place I used to always visit when in town. Nothing much has changed there although they do have less and less woman on the correct side of the yellow line. The new owner apparently only allows 1 beer at the bar now, I got in there in the early afternoon and was thirsty so downed 1 beer quick and then asked for another before telling him I would make a selection. He said that I can only have 1 beer at the Bar the next has to be upstairs. What kind of shit is this? Anyway, there was not much to choose from so left for the Chrome bar in the same st and this nice young chic took it in the ass so all worked out in the end.
had you been to the now closed "Stadium"? was that too loud?
I never thought Stadium was too loud. The whole ambience to that place was the noise and lights, and of course the crowd. On a Saturday night, that place was awesome when the crowd was into it. It was similar to being at a football game in the US with the crowd going nuts. I've never found any place similar in Thailand. Damn shame they shut it down. I knew people who lived in Singapore that used to fly in every weekend just to go to Stadium.
There are places that are too loud on occasion. It's normally smaller bars where the music is always loud, but at times they crank the noise way way up when the DJ gets high. At that point, I leave.
The music at night spots in Jakarta is much louder than it is in Bangkok. I can't think of a place I've been in Bangkok where the level of the music was unbearable (I've never been to Shock 39), but it has happened more than once in Jakarta.

I saw the Smashing Pumpkins back in 1996 (Bullet with Butterfly Wings, baby! Classic). We got to go back stage and meet the band after the show. I was surprised at how laid back to the point of being boring Billy Corgan was. He was well spoken and very nice but his personality reminded me more of an accountant than a rocker. Good show.

Always thought Patts had a seedy, bottom of barrel type of reputation. I know this has changed in the last decade, but to what extent?
