Bangkok Reports

Touching down on Friday. First time since 2016. First time that I have been away for so long. But I've been checking forums and the changes are worrying me. The goverment clean-up drive to improve morale is odd. Usually I have a bucketlist of places to go and to visit.

This time I feel that I just will go with the flow. I just hope there are decent substitutes to Annies etc. But a week should be easy to get some "action". Just shitty exchange rate for me. Now it is cheaper to have a kilo lobster then a threesome for 90 min at a massage place. Probably more expensive to have two FL for ST. Well. Soon. Soon I don't care if that nice girl will be 2 k or 3. 5 k. My litte brain will run my will the entire vacation.

Check Thaniya Plaza, all Asian, and non-Asians are not allowed unless you are escorted in by an Asian. Most of the clubs there are Japanese only. Truthfully, I don't think this is a bias held by the gals, it is a bias that has developed due to the ever increasing market of Asian men, most of who really don't like caucasians; some who outright detest us.

For decades the GoGos were the domain of European and North American dudes. Asians went to Thaniya and a few select GoGos. When economies started to crash in 08-09 money began to dry up for the Asian expats and tourist so the "cheaper" (at the time) GoGos became preferable to Thaniya, which was always quite expensive. GoGos that had never seen an Asian dude became full of them. The white man really does not mind sharing GoGos with the Asian male. But the converse is not true. The gaijin and gwailo has been hated for years by the Asian male and has been excluded way before the Thai P4 P scene came into being. Asian men just don't want to see the women they go with going with white dudes. For 'Mericans we can compare it to the racist white guy from the South who makes comments about white gals that date African Americans. It's the same prejudice and bias. And the working gals have responded to this, not because they don't like white guys, but because going with a white dude can spoil their market in some of these GoGos.

I actually first saw this in action in Thermae in about 04 or so when the Asian dudes started to come to Thermae in numbers due to the closing of the Siam City Hotel on Petchaburi Rd. All of the sudden many of the gals would not openly go with white guys. Openly you say? Well, some would meet you outside but would not want to be seen leaving with you by the Asian men or their friends for fear of being labeled as a gal who goes with white men. How do I know this? They would tell me and my friends. I would always marvel when I saw a young hottie who would not give me the time of day (I was in my 30's at the time and one of the younger dudes in the scene) would leave with a really old Japanese dude in bad golf attire who reeked of cigs and booze. So again, the gals are just doing what they have to do to deal with the current business climate. There are more of them than us. And that trend is not going to change.

My MO now is not to buy a drink on entry but check out the vibe and if it is anti=white I leave.

99% of farang on here don't do this but if you go off the beaten path in Pattaya and hit the Thai dominated bars, you will not be very welcome by the Thai male clientele. Girls will have no issues as they only see you as an ATM.

There is definitely a contempt for most westerners in Bangkok. Westerners tend not to be very discreet around the P4P scene and I am sure the locals hate that shit. If roles were reversed I would probably hate that shit too so it is understandable.

That has changed drastically during my 18 year tenure.

And again, this is more due to the Asian male clientele's contempt for the Western male as opposed to the gals dislike of the non-Asian punter.

The Koreans (and Japanese) don't want westerners fucking their girls. There's a silly perception that AIDS and STDs are western diseases, and they want their girls clean.

When I chat to girls mostly at oilies who their favorite customer is they invariably say "farang". Good heart and show respect. OK maybe it's because I'm farang but I believe them. So why when a venue's clientele becomes predominately Asian does it appear the girls prefer their business? I feel the answer lies in, they pay more, are easier to satisfy and perhaps they are less concerned about size. Knowing Japanese customers are more comfortable with girls that don't go with farangs they feign disinterest earlier in the evening but when it's getting late with no takers up to then trust me we all begin to look alike.

Nothing racist about. Just simply the way it is. And as Smoothy pointed out, there are no venues that are "white men only," but there are venues that are "Japanese only. " So I ask you, whose being racist? I really don't see any of the Westerners screaming for western only places or for Asian men to be excluded.

It could be the way the govt offices are run, the corruption, the way gogo bars are run, etc, etc, You will be better off to just not think about it at all.

Can you bribe a cop for speeding or DUI and walk free in the western world? Chances are you will have an extra few charges and guaranteed jail time. The system cannot be touched.

The asian only places are part of the system even though the analogy might not seem apt.

Anyways, would'nt be easier for the white folks and others. Meaning browns and blacks. If there is a list of such asian only places. Sure there are many but can't be more than a handful in the most popular places like WS, Cowboy, NEP etc. , It will help those who are RTFFing before their arrival.
